nothing about V's environments are memorable, and there's just loads of empty space
the majority of the game is filler, even main missions don't really feel like they should be main missions
series staples like boss fights basically being gone isn't that great either

I have not played the previous ones and am in my first playthrough of MGS5 since its free on psplus. Miller and Ocelot keeps going all "wtf is that? wtf are those?" when they discover about the big mecha and the skull unit. I know there are mechas in previous games and some other weird shit like a bee controling guy. Why are they acting like it was the first time they saw stuff like that?
