>Motion Blur: On
Why the fuck do devs do this?
Motion Blur: On
To hide how disgusting their game actually looks
kind of like how girls wear makeup.
A half-assed attempt to make videogames look cinematic.
On a sidenote: the artist of this image is an immensely insecure asshole.
Honestly most games with motion blur look better with it off
More importantly, why do devs add chromatic aberration?
Makeup is good though
im going to guess this from ito, which one is it?
kikkujo
thanks
>lens flares
>god rays
>motion blur
>chromatic aberration
>hair physics
so what
sounds fitting.
What's wrong with god rays
>hair physics
>bad
What's this about ito. What am I missing?
Don't make fun of me!
>having a toaster
>tfw walletlet and have to turn off everything to conserve my 3.5 gb of memory
>have an ageing build
>want to upgrade cpu, motherboard and ram
>don't want to possibly have to reinstall
I haven't reinstalled my OS is almost 3 years and I'm sure going from an Intel LGA 1366 build to an AM4 with Ryzen would probably warrant one.
>brightness adjustment as you move from a dark area to a bright area and vice versa
when will these cunts just add floaters to their games to complete the realism package?
i'm pretty sure it's not ito
and hair physics is fine, fuck you
Crysis is the only game that does motion blur right and even so it's better without it.
Hair physics it's fine, most people whine and cry about hairworks in the witchers 3 using Geralt as a example yet they never mention the creatures were it looks awesome.
Of course it isn't going to look good on a head, the size it's just there while in a monsters which dimensions are bigger there's more play.

Done right it looks ok. I remember Crysis had excessive chromatic aberration underwater, but that actually makes sense since the refraction index of water naturally causes a shit ton of CA in real life. Stuff like that I like, if it's subtle otherwise it can help with a certain aesthetic. If it's over the top it's trash tho.

do human eyes really get darker around the edges?
t. alien
It does feel good my man
why not just do max fps: 2
>he doesn't like hair physics when they're done like Alice Madness returns
Depends on lighting. If it's indirect and scattered or faces the eye directly, then usually not. Otherwise it may look like it.
hard to tell because you can't actually recognize shit at the edges of your eyes
Because real life has motion blur.
>game will now detect the recommended settings for your PC...

Such a good feel.

>dust off Jumpstart educational game CDs and pop em in the PC for a nostalgia run
>tells me my PC is too good to run the game
WHAT ThE FUCK DO YOU MEAN
>Put old CD-ROM of Qbert into my PC to play
>The game runs ludicrously fast and you die instantly as the first enemy descends in a blink
What did they mean by this?
