Had some really nice backgrounds and stuff and combat was nice, but bosses kept fucking my shit up and I had no idea what was going on story wise.
It was daijobu da
It was gorgeous but a bit too dated. The rock paper scissors thing is pretty ingenious and while it's a big visual treat it felt like it needed a bit of polish in some areas.
DAIJOBU DA MONDAI NAI
Played a couple of hours of it and I don't remember any of it. I think I found it to be pretty boring but it looked beautiful.
For some reason I remembered the game as El Fuckyou. Whatever happened to my brain.
Too much DmC...
In Spanish.

Explain.

One of the dankest memes to ever hit Nicovideo and the japanese web
Too bad the actual game sucked balls
Felt really conflicted about it, ended up not getting far in though. Really want The Lost Child badly however, because more games like SMT pre-IV = I'm happy. Even better if it picks up the mantra grid from DDS2.
It's called The Lost Child.
Takeyasu bought the IP back with his own money and earlier this year put out a SMT clone (Which apparently veers heavily into Strange Journey territory according to Japanese reviewers; seemed to get 7s and 8s across the board in reviews) for the PS4 and Vita under Kadokawa that's set in the same universe. Western release next year.
So its like DmC but with a literal God-Tier setting? Will it nuzzle my Christian sensibilities?
What was his name again?
Funnily enough i re-bought this yesterday after playing it briefly a couple of years ago.
Looks and sounds nice but the gameplay puts me to sleep.
...
I bought a copy for $16 sealed and never got around to opening it.
A re release would be nice
Those really were a nice pair of jeans

This game was successful enough for a sequel?
I thought it kind of came and went.
I mean, I liked it enough, but if it didn't have the presentation and premise that it did, I'd probably have forgotten all about it.
The game itself is only OK.
It looked and sounded beautiful, but they may have put too much faith in the combat system. It needed some more elements to spice it up.
The story was very opaque and sometimes very hard to follow.
Great art direction, great atmosphere, decent plot, no gameplay worth shit.
