See you, Space Cowboy

Interlinked

Is this movie actually good or is Hiro getting paid to let paid shills promote it?

CELLS.

When was the last time you imagined holding hands with a fictional character? Cells.

fuck
man
i actually felt things at the end of that

fuck

Shilling was confirmed. Someone else probably took a screen cap.
It's already at the cheap theaters.

Do you long to play a game that makes you feel whole again? Interlinked.

Habberdashery Loli Throughout the Ages

I was honestly waiting for this to happen

Nothing was confirmed faggot. It's retreading the first movie. People who like the cyberpunk genre will love it, it's excellent. But it's not for everyone.

>see 2049 with dad
>he no longer asks me why I don't talk about girls

google fails me what platform are these games on?

Do you remember your father ever being proud of you? Distinct.

Way off baseline.

>do they keep you in a small cell when they don't need you? CELLS
>tfw if im not at work im in my room sleeping or shitposting until I have to work again.
am I a skinjob Sup Forums?

tbqh all I could think was how similar it was to drive's ending for ryan gosling's character

>see 2049 with dad
>he thought it was boring

> Lars Lindstrom, our protagonist, is a strange, isolated young man who has a mail-order love doll named Bianca as a girlfriend and waifu
> eventually Bianca "dies", and Lars moves on to 3DPD
> there is a time-gap here, and Lars has broken up with Margo (if they were ever truly together in the first place) and has started a new life in Miami to get away from his socially awkward past
> he realizes that while he is socially retarded, he is extremely good at certain things like driving and becomes a professional getaway driver for robberies
> falls in love with a 3DPD who turns out to be a roastie
> decides to help out her husband and ultimately when shit goes south uses his autistic retard strength to take out the mafia presence and provide 3DPD with some safety at the cost of his life
> bleeding out, he drives away and enters a fever dream, a futuristic purgatory where he is tormented with the notion of not being "a real man" and once again relies on a 2D waifu, a more animated version of Bianca
> 2D waifu is everything he could dream of, but dies
> goes through a long, arduous journey to finally become a real human bean and decides to take his destiny into his own hands, no longer a pawn of any side, doing what he believes to be right
> loses his "life" again, bleeding out from the same wound as before, and the fever dream comes to an end as he passes on into the dark while remembering his brother's words:

"You grow up when you decide to do right, and not what's right for you , what's right for everybody even when it hurts."

What did they MEAN by this? What was the message?

You're way off baseline.

The first one was for the SNES, but the remake just came out.

I saw it with my dad too and he kept fucking asking questions about what was going on like he was Solid Snake

Don't click

oh, hadn't seen that yet
fuck backlogs

DREADFULLY DISTINCT

Do you love a fictional character more than you've ever loved a real person? Interlinked.

So after seeing the two Blade Runner movies I really feel like playing some cyberpunk LUDO now
Is there a PC version of Kojimbo's Snatcher or do I have to emulate it?

Do you enjoy playing video games GAMES
What is your favorite Sony console SONY
Is there a website you enjoy posting on for sony? SONY
Neogaf owner accused of rape RAPE
I'm going to get banned BANNED

I liked Drive. It was a solid movie, you should really watch it despite that spoiler.

undertale

The ending is very similar to Roy's too

>that scene

Hotline Miami 2's ending made me smile so I'm alright.
Cells.

DELET

You should talk about making a game based on the events here. that's video games.

Can't someone explain the CELLS, INTERLINKED, and DISTINCT shit for me? I'm not much of a movie person.

If I like Drive will I like this movie, does gosling talk alot?

Yeah, we get along really well.

He just wants grandkids and I only ever meet harpy women with more mood stabilizers than blood.

You're all way off baseline.

See the Captain on your way out.

Is that Raven in Gwen's outfit? muh dik

>mfw Atari is still around in 2049
Jive turkeys BTFO

It's Blade Runner, there isn't a lot of talking going on.

Its from a poem, and in the movie its a type of test to check if the replicant is still obedient or not

The phrases in the baseline test were emotionally charged, probing lines that invoke strong introspection. The replicants are heavily conditioned to not response to that kind of stimulus, so measuring emotional cues like reaction time, subtle muscle movement and steadiness of response tells them whether the conditioning is breaking down and they need to 'retire' the replicant in question.

Sure mate.

It's a poem. The parts of the poem are interspersed with personal questions that are designed to illicit an emotional response. If you do in fact show an emotional response as a replicant blade runner, you are "off baseline" and considered a liability.

The test is intentionally emotionally abusive and rigorous to force out any hidden noncompliance that might be lingering.

They're designed to trigger an emotional response. Replicants can't have emotions, if K is off his baseline he gets a death sentence.

I can get you out of Sup Forums alive, but in 48 hours I'm not responsible for your new scan.

Not really, and he also always makes that face where his eyes are open like he saw something horrible as well, just like in drive.

You can pick up your bonus.

WHERE'S MY HOTLINE MIAMI MOVIE

You're gonna carry that burden.

>tfw miles off baseline

Drive. Take what you can get.

It's literally Drive or Taxi Driver.

>If I'm on baseline I get a bonus
>If I'm not I get fucking killed
is it really a bonus then

there's a whole set of it with her getting fucked in it

its a poem in a science fiction book if i remember well, something about true AI.

What exactly was the point of that test again?
something about him being a replicant but it's a lot different than the previous one

This is the kind of shit that makes me wish I cared about poetry, then I try to read some and it's just people complaining about aging or talking about flowers or menstruation or something.

I can do Kipling because he writes about Afghani rebels and horses and boats, but the high concept stuff just feels like slavs complaining.

I'm gonna have to ask for sauce, no matter how weak.

Figures. Ten or so active topics seems a bit off for a movie that wasn't too popular.

Post it then.

...

nigger scroll up

........................................no

I posted it here mane:

Cuphead

Some autistic fuck posting the same thread multiple times isn't the same as shilling. People get obsessed and want to talk about the thing they like.

Remember Abatap?

I miss Atariposting

>Is there a PC version of Kojimbo's Snatcher or do I have to emulate it?

Neither. Buy the damn game and a SegaCD

Ya'll really should just grab a rip or check it out for free if you can. It's an excellent scifi movie and you will definitely identify with the protagonist if you're here posting.

Shame the movie is doing completely shit financially

Play some other cyberpunk point and clicks. I've been meaning to play Gemini Rue for this reason, which I'll do afterward.

>Remember Abatap?
Holy shit, yeah.

>This far off baseline

People like good shit hombre.

2077 soon

Yeah it sucks, it's the first movie all over again. Won't be acknowledged as a success until years later. It's doing great critically

You should play pic related too

That's probably for a best because the sequel wouldn't have the same director, nor the same cinematography

>was going to see it again with brother
>he naps too long and we miss the LAST SCREENING

Fuck him, but especially fuck normies for not seeing it.

Ryan Gosling is creating the new Ring Cycle. He's creating a multitextual work encompassing the struggle of the modern semiautist, across many times and situations. In almost all cases, the only path to fulfillment ends in a slow death. This willful embrace of self-destruction is becoming stronger in our cinema, and you have to wonder how long it will be until it bleeds into reality and young men are subconsciously drawn towards annihilation as the conclusion to their journey.

Historians will look back in 100 years and wonder how the Goose managed to perfectly encapsulate our pathos and yearning.

>tfw you thought you were special

>they just start releasing Blade Runner movies in increments of every 30 years

what. why wouldn't the same guy come back

I'm googling. All I've spotted so far:

How does Fracture (one of his best roles) factor into this meta-concert?

Reminding based Goose wrote the baseline scene

Why is he so good?

Here's his script for anyone interested: pastebin.com/9T3vgFwq

I know this is Sup Forums but I loved how the movie showed that Joe *was* special, he lied, he dissobeyed orders, and he chose for himself to not start a war between humans and replicants.
He made finally got Decky to see his daugther, and he did all that shit, which in the long term will be more influential than anything the girl in the hamster ball has done. (maybe) He was a real human bean all alone. Or maybe the movie is just a hallucination of that part in Drive where the driver takes like 5 minutes to recover from his wounds at the end of the movie.

I still haven't seen it, or Place Beyond the Pines.

shit son I'm very interested. Thank you

think of it an incentive not to be off your fucking baseline, skinjob

Man get on it pronto.
Ludicrously good.
Probably between that and OGF for his best acting.

Already downloading.

I unironically love the Goose but no homo

Something about him is just great.

Getting shot and thrown in the compost seems like the eventual end of any replicant Blade Runner. You shoot your own kind until it eventually adds up and you sneeze during the baseline test, and unless you have a perfect track record like K, you get asphyxiated before you even leave the room.

>Ya'll really should just grab a rip or check it out for free if you can.

Fuck no. It's rare to find a movie that commands a theater viewing, and this is one. You'd hurt your enjoyment if you just watch some cam rip
