Wii U pro controller was perfect though

>the controller costs $70
>a pair of joycons costs $80
I don't see why they couldn't have made a Switch bundle that's 10 dollars cheaper and comes without the shitty joy cons and comes with a controller instead.

>no gyros

Literally Xbone controller.

There is. It's called the Xbone controller. Or the later generation 360 controllers. It's really down to preference.

>Bone controller
Bad d-pad
>Switch Pro
dpad input issues
no tiggers
>DS4
shit battery life
sits on shoulder buttons
retarded led light you can't turn off
stupid pad in the center

These three companies have had literal decades and still suck fat cock at controller design and quality control. Bone is closest to perfect with WiiU pro right behind but damn get your shit together console makers.

The switch pro controller is objectively better than the Wii U pro controller, lad.

I would whole-heartedly agree if it weren't for this

I played BotW on Wii U switching between Pro and Gamepad. It's OK but that sweet gyro bow aiming spoils a person.

Companies like PowerA and Hori need to stop fucking around and just make a Pro U clone.

I don't have that issue with mine; might have something to do with it being a special edition/second generation

It would be almost perfect if it weren't for the fucking dpad. It's got a really nice weight and feel tho.

>>Bone controller
>Bad d-pad

What? The elite controller ironically has the best D-pad this gen. That fucker is microswitched

whats wrong with the dpad?
was going to pick one up to play mario kart with the lads

Why did Nintendo turn away from analog in the first place?
Was it because of the shitty patent-troll?

patents

Anyone use one these?
I know it's wired so that'll be deal breaker for some but other than that it looks solid, under $30 on Amazon.

Microswitched? I've never heard of that term before, what do you mean?

Because some refuse to accept their lord and savior.

The reports of QC issues have always scared me off of buying one of those. I may just bite the bullet and hope for the best though.

It clicks, because it has little switched beneath it.

>designed to purposefully fuck up and stop syncing on windows 7 even though i have the stupid wireless adapter
>once it desyncs one time you can never get it to sync again without reinstalling windows

great design. Will never buy another MS product in my life.

Ah neat, like a keyboard then

>using a deprecated OS

Works fine on GNU/Linux

You're problem there is using Windows 7, when there is literally no reason not to use Windows 10.

that's a horrible dpad. and the dpad and left stick are in the wrong place

you don't use a wireless xbone controller on linux period

>the controller costs $70
>a pair of joycons costs $80
>pair
It's because it's two controllers instead of one bro

Tagged wrong post, fuck. Meant for

>I don't want to have control of my own computer!
I understand how this is acceptable to you but you'll probably never understand why it isn't to me.

Analog triggers are overrated as fuck

It absolutely nailed the design but has too many build issues over time
Stick drift
Misfires and unresponsiveness
The shoulder buttons also feel extremely flimsy
No, I don't throw mine at the wall or drop from knee height

Why can't people just make a durable controller? For something that costs 60 dollarydoos you'd think these would last longer than half a year of moderate use. I bet this shit is done on purpose to make you buy more controllers.

Because I'm a normal person who allows my PC to update itself, and doesn't cry and whine because the updates I've been ignoring for a week got sick of my shit.

This, it really is GOAT

>dpad with switches
>bumpers have ingenious design that provides strain relief for the switches so they don't get ripped of the board over time which is how pretty much every controller I've owned has failed

>because i'm a normal person

yes, you are. Why are you here, again?

...

Because durability is random. There are so many moving parts in a controller, something is going to wear out or break over time, especially with how aggressive we can be with them. Even the Pro controller is prone to wear and tear.
Because I'm fucking gay.

>especially with how aggressive we can be with them

this is the guy who thinks windows 10 is okay, same guy who pretends he is a normie but is someone who slams around controllers, in reality just a sheep and drone fine with letting his computer be a spybot into his life

Because people cannot into good ergonomics whilst catering to the "gamer" audience.

>poor physical design
>sunken thumbsticks?
>unusable, wildly designed dpad that takes up two times too much space
>button prompts on the controller because it's forward-looking game design for me to have to look at the controller instead of the screen

HURRR

This, and

...this

> hurr durr ur a sheep drone wake up
You're a riot mate, absolutely solid comeback.
