disable shadows
No one knows. It is trial and error. It will be different every game
Decrease resolution
Update drivers
Make sure you're not using integrated graphics
Turn off AA
turn off whatever bothers you the least
some people can't stand not having shadows but don't mind missing AA
some people hate jaggies but dont mind losing shadows
if you have a toaster you're gonna obviously have to take some losses
>build pc
>power supply is too weak
>have to keep fans on lowest setting to prevent bios screen from freezing
>tfw I install my OS ill have to treat my 750 burgerdollar rig like a toaster
I miss when you could actually turn off particles in game options.
It's a massive ressource saver, especially for unstable framerate. No matter how you see it, it's all about suddenly instantiating hundreds of polygos with a mini ai after all.
literally this
upgrade to PS4 technology
ew
>shadows, ambient occlusion, post processing and resolution
Turn those off/down for the largest gains.
Shadows are always blocky messes with shit render distance anyway. Those that aren't are going to tax your rig like no tomorrow.
Download more ram
go back
Shadows are always about redrawing every object that the light touches, albeit with a much lighter shader that only records the Z Distance of every pixel drawn.
What do you think about this
I remember when I used to play Fallout games like this on an Athlon 64 and a GT 210.
You haven't known pain until you've owned a toaster.
>You haven't known pain until you've owned a toaster
how else am I going to prepare my breakfast?
You can use a frying pan if you're really desperate.
open the ini file and change everything to 0,none or low and resolution to 512x270
>Get some buns
>Cut them in half
>Smear them with butter
>Put some cheese and meat on them
>Put them in the oven for few minutes
>Take them out and enjoy your meal
i can't, my home is kill
>buns
make sure they are hot.
>firing up the oven just for a few toasted buns
Wouldn't wanna be the sucker that has to pay your electricity bill. Also my oven is full of utensils like grates, baking trays and pans. Huge hassle to clear it out every time, only do it when preparing something in the oven is actually worth it. For everything else socialist east german tabletop grill master race.
That's why you put them in the oven
