I've been a gamer most of my adult life. I started on Playstation, so I've seen the progressive progression that has taken place in the gaming industry, and I believe a lot of it is down to Sony.
With the PS4, they have taken it a step further. The PS4 is a brilliant piece of technology on its on, with incredible games to act as the icing on the cake.
Games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted Collection, the upcoming The Last of Us II and Bloodborne are some of the greatest of the medium. And best of all, they all appear on the same platform, which makes it all the more impressive from a gamers point of view. These aren't just video games though; they are experiences. Experiences that have changed lives, made people cry, made people open their eyes to life.
The controller is all around perfect. It's sleek, smooth, and designed for gamers in mind. Never in my life have I felt such a perfect controller, even going as far to walk around with it in my pocket sometimes when I am out and about to remind myself how gorgeous it feels in the hand.
