MGS 4 has the deepest gameplay while staying somewhat true to MGS formula. MGS V broke the formula and the game was a mess.

MGS4 simply had too many cutscenes versus gameplay. Even going by MGS standards gameplay was buried somewhere under them. Not to mention entire game was basically glorified fan service no one asked for.

Wow I've never seen anyone this spot on before. I agree 100% with OP, I'm glad somebody else in this fandom appreciates the series the same way I do.

1 and 3 are GOAT games through and through. 2, 4, and 5 were all tried interesting things that worked really well sometimes but then lacked in some areas. Peacewalker is definitely my least favorite but they all are great.

The game would be better if there was crouch walking like in MGS4, PW and TPP, I'll give you that, but everything else you're saying is retarded.

Right, but when combined they really are longer than MGS1 and MGS2 combined. Remember that just the remake of Shadow Moses encapsulates almost the entire map from MGS1.
