I justify it like so:

I pirate a game, i get to try it without having to spend a cent. If I like it, I can buy it and it's DLC, Online functionality, etc and support the devs.

If the game is trash and literally filled with microtransactions or 90% of the content is DLC, I haven't lost any money and can just hit delete.

Your turn OP. How exactly do you justify spending 3x the amount of the base game on DLC that adds at most 15 minutes of extra gameplay on top of the base game?

I went out with a friend last night. Spent 3,5 euros on cigars, 12 euros on beer, 4.8 euros on pizza and 2 euros on taxi.
