Because he works for the axiom, the real creator of the universe.
Because Yamai is a hack and you should stop playing SMT. The series ended with SJ.
Why did they make my boy Metatron into such a little bitch in this game?
Knowledge>Religion
>tying gameplay mechanic with actual lore
If he is he would've beaten YHVH ages ago.
He's not allowed to directly interfere.
Why cant the creator of the universe give him working legs?
youtu.be
He has working legs. He just doesn't want to unleash his full power on random people.
He can stand you know.
Because he's an Omega level mutant you fuck
Science > Religion
Just like Real Life
I don't know if he's actually stronger than YHVH. You don't actually beat YHVH in a straight fight, you have to deny his teachings and bring him down to the level of a demon before you can actually kill him.
YHVH's power was scattered and became the demons of the world. He's still powerful, just not omnipotent.
Why would you ever want to stand when you've got a sweet ass wheelchair like that?
No, YHVH is merely a demon himself, just one that's supercharged by the overwhelmingly popular Judaic faiths practiced worldwide. Demons (and the Great Will) developed (via human evolution) as a defense mechanism against the 'radiation' that Nyx (aka the horrific thing from beyond the stars that's sleeping in the moon) gives off.
after fucking around with matter/data conversion for so long he became a data shaman, who can hack reality on the quantum level
Oh, I thought he was a badass wheelchair character, at least we got Proffesor X.
Hi Ace.
>YHVH, the creator of the universe?
YHVH only thinks he made the universe because of the shape of people's belief in him
Hello user.
He's the creator of the Demon Summoning Program in SMT1, and the acsended side of him is hinted in SMT2 when you find him rolling around in VR, and later chilling in Makai.
Because YHVH isn't the creator of the universe. YHVH is merely a pawn who gained too much self awareness and pretended to be the creator of all.
He's stronger than YHVH but YHVH with the Axiom clause just flat out cannot be beaten. This is why demons and gods need humans to 'observe' YHVH, and use their own belief on what he is to weaken him. This is why YHVH usually hides out in his special universe. Humans just looking at him is enough to bring harm to his existence.
25 hours bois!
What's the axiom? What religion is it from?
This. YHVH is no different than Demiurge personality wise. They both believe that they are the creator god, except Demurge doesn't have humanity believing in him.
The axiom is another name for The Great Will of the Universe.
It's what they call the "Great Will" in 4A. Basically the idea that the universal order is a kind of entity unto itself found in some Eastern religions.
Then why does Lucifer want to kill the Great Will in Nocturne if its YHVH he has beef with?
>beyond the stars
>sleeping in the moon
hmm....
You were partly right until you brought your bullshit Persona-SMT headcanon into it. Persona's Nyx does not exist in the SMT multiverse, only the goddess Nyx. YHVH was created as a kind of avatar for the Axiom to govern each respective universe he's placed in. The very first batch of living humans were created to shape the universe with their observation ability, while YHVH most likely existed to keep that from getting out of hand. YHVH then became too self aware and started abusing his position, and fooling humans into believing he was the one true god.
>FROM beyond the stars
>sleeping on the moon
reading comprehension?
This first part might just be theory but I don't think Lucifer knows that they're separate entities.
The second part is that a universe ruled by a god who can choose to reset it any time his subjects displease him is not a universe where humanity can truly be free and the strong can never truly dominate because of circumstances outside their control. Kagatsuchi is also part of the Great Will.
Persona must exist in the smt multiverse though, that's why you see the smt if protagonist and devil summoners.
>Persona's Nyx does not exist in the SMT multiverse, only the goddess Nyx.
Raidou 1's plot is basically someone from SMT 2 coming back in time to avert it.
The Kuzunoha clan show up in Persona 2.
The only tricky part is connecting Persona 2 to Persona 3, but if that ever happens then it's not headcanon, just canon.
What exactly is The White? I mean they are mentioned briefly in smt 4 but after the fight against them they just fuck off.
The part of the human unconscious that wants everything to cease existing because the SMT universe is a shit place.
But Apocalypse says that their efforts are futile since there will always be another universe in which they fail.
>This first part might just be theory but I don't think Lucifer knows that they're separate entities.
It might as well be unofficially confirmed that nobody but YHVH and ascended beings like Steven know about the multiverse and YHVH's true position in it. Remember, YHVH was among the first beings to be created and the angels were a product of his own creation. They literally have no way to know about other realities or the Axiom itself. The confusion regarding YHVH and the Great Will/Axion is more due to YHVH spouting BS about it being him.
Persona's lore directly contradicts SMT's by having Nyx and Phil. Persona is run using the Lovecraftian lore as their outer beings, rather than The Great Will/Axiom. There's also the fact Atlus clearly had no idea where they were going with Persona until P2, and then messed up the connections with P3 and onward. You could easily correlate that with it just being 'early' development contradictions. I mean, I don't care either way but things flat out contradict. Azathoth replaces the Great Will in Persona's (mostly P2) lore. There's also the fact that Nyx being allowed to fuck with the multiverse just wouldn't fly without Steven interfering due to their conflicting goals.
adding to my post :
Even with Persona and SMT sharing the same universe, YHVH's existence and everything else clearly has nothing to do with Nyx. Nyx is just a result of Persona (whether it shares canon or not) using the same human observation effect as SMT. Nyx also doesn't work because YHVH just wouldn't allow it to happen. He needs humanity more than anything and he would either try to avert it or do some BS to spin their depression into having faith in him.
I'll repeat my last statement. I don't hate Persona being part of SMT's canon, but its clear that Atlus had some weird confusion with what exactly they wanted the Great Will to be back then and how things are somewhat changed now with IVA. Whether it be that their retconning old stuff to fix the multiverse's plot or not, things just don't fit well.
SMT and Persona does this all the time though. IV had demonicas and even a couple of scenes with them, but Strange Journey happens in another alternate universe with no connection to them, so why are the demonicas there? The simple answers is that it could be a mix between nodding to other atlus favorites as well as an inverse butterfly effect, where things from alternate universes end up happening in somewhat similar ways but different outcomes. IV and IVA are perfect examples of this. There could be infinite versions of nocturne in the multiverse where demifiend just died as soon as shit hit the fan and nothing else happened. There could versions of SMT 1 where the hero created a faction similar to the samurai and decided to praise YHVH. Stuff like the Steven DLC and blasted Tokyo practically confirm these possibilities.

Read through this. A summarized version from the wiki:
>In the Persona 3 Club Book, in a Q&A section it is stated that Nyx is in fact a living being outside reality the size of a celestial body known as "the Star Eater", that drifted space in a dormant state. Eventually, this being collided with the Earth, and ended up entering Earth's orbit becoming its moon, but leaving its psyche on the surface. This "wave-like psyche" stood a contradiction to the already existing life on earth, which was still at a very primitive state. In order to resist this contradiction, the life forms in Earth had a period of evolution and developed a collective subconsciousness in which the life forms locked away the psyche of Nyx by suppressing its psyche with their own thoughts. Nyx's physical body entered a healing process after the colliding with the Earth from within Earth's moon. By the time Persona 3 takes place, that process was just about done. The Fall is the process in which Nyx's psyche re-enters its physical body, giving Nyx back its original form, meaning a paradox for life on earth, and thus the end of the world.
>The guidebook also makes a quick mention of the Great Will (a recurring power in the main series), stating that Gods and Demons emerge from humans as another mean to defend their psyche from Nyx.
So, YHVH has everything to do with Nyx.
Stopped reading after the first few lines because there's already an alternate take on Nyx in SMT using her defacto lore. There's also the fact that this pysche stuff contradicts the very lore regarding human existence in SMT from older games to IVA. P2 contradicts the Great Will due to lovecraft lore but I guess it can still work at the same time, but I digress. P2, P3 and onward could also be using the Great Will lore but still not be sharing THE Smt canon. Remember, Persona was just a spin-off of the SMT series that didn't even share it's name. It has since then clearly evolved into it's own thing with shit like Demiurge in P5 just not making the connection work, even with multiverse. YHVH and human's roles were already established in SMT, so this guide book is randomly contradicting that. I know it seems dumb to argue against an official book, but when it's contradicting something that hasn't been retconned (would have worked if IVA didn't come out and oppose this), then it's hard to believe that it's still relevant to anything. Persona Q is supposed to be canon and that game even fucks with P2's lore just by how it sets everything up.
>Stopped reading after the first few lines because there's already an alternate take on Nyx in SMT using her defacto lore
I bet you think the Angels in Evangelion are messengers of God too, don't you?
But that brings up even more questions, like why did nyx only appear in the persona universe, shouldn't she have awoken in all of the other ones (unless nyx was somehow sealed from the whole multiverse). I'm pretty sure they're meant to be viewed separately, because otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
Another thing to note is that the stuff with Nyx in the books actually works extremely well when looking back at Persona 3's original ending via sequels, where it was going to be the protags of the games lining up to save door-kun or some shit. It could very well just be an artifact of the original story that they were planning to go with but never changed it because it still works, but now it no longer does with stuff like P5 and onward obviously not going to touch on the Persona-nyx multiverse anymore.
Well, SMT3 introduced the Conception, in which the universe got reset over and over when it reached a certain point in time. And in the book they state that, even without the villains fucking around with it, the Fall (and thus the extinction of humanity) was just about to happen anyway...
It's issues like this why these connections don't make sense. Why did Nyx literally appear in the Persona (P3 to P5 to be exact) universe randomly and start all that off? Why did YHVH not step in if the same SMT version of YHVH should exist there as well? Why didn't Steven jump in to prevent the stuff with Nyarla in P2? Why didn't guys like Igor ever touch on stuff in SMT if they exist outside of the multiverse? IVA was Atlus's answer to making sense out of the SMT multiverse after all these years, because they clearly did not have a true definitive answer back in Nocturne. This is why things contradict before and around Nocturne's time. Persona may very well be connected to the series, but Atlus will need to give a good explanation to these contradictions in one of their games. It's very likely that Atlus only had a loose idea on what The Great Will was supposed to be back in SMT1-2 and somewhat onward and just tried to tie in things willy nilly.
IVA's plot dump aids to why the conception makes sense. IV does the same with the White. The SMT universe, or at least the mainline games, are trapped in a never ending loop, akin to a paradox. YHVH will always be respawned unless someone takes his place (Nanashi) and then that person will continuously be re-spawned until humanity is wiped out. YHVH will NEVER be able to stop the spawn of demons, and humans will always slip up and create thing. The white's goal was to use Flynn to put a stop to it, but even they aren't aware that there are other universes that will still be locked in this never ending war.
Get a dictionary
>The waves of Nyx’s psyche, which spread across the planet, stood in harsh contradiction with the life already existing on it and threatened to eliminate said life entirely. Of course, the still very primitive, survival-instinct driven lifeforms of earth made attempts to resist these 'Waves of Death’. As a result of this, the lifeforms of earth entered a period of explosive evolution, and developed coping-strategies to resist Nyx, weapons against her. The crown of this development was a plane of shared information between all living beings on earth, the so-called “Collective Unconscious”.
> The Axiom bestowed upon humanity the power of Observation when they were created, allowing them to give form to their beliefs and thoughts. This ability allows them to influence the world and is why gods and demons seek to use them. Despite all this, the Axiom is not sentient in a way humans would understand, which is why each side has interpreted it differently. Only Transcendant beings like Stephen understand the Axiom.
Hmm, it's almost like there's a connection between these two things.
But Nyx just randomly spawning doesn't make sense, given how YHVH came to be and the Axiom's 'purpose' of it all. Being a total creation or some form of summoning of humanity would have made more sense when connecting the canons. It doesn't make sense that she randomly chose to be in just one of the persona universes (not P2 from what we can tell), and not in the hell hole that is SMT. This very line " This "wave-like psyche" stood a contradiction to the already existing life on earth" contradicts her own existence in the SMT canon. From what we're told, you don't randomly spawn as a multiverse entity to begin with, The Axiom must create you. If she was a universal entity that ascended her way up and then that stuff happen it would make sense.
Here's a simple question for you. Why then did YHVH not create messengers to set the loathing humans faith in him before it happened? YHVH literally observes humanity through their eyes, so the shit that let the lab know about the dark hour and Nyx years ago would have already gave him enough information to stop it. Then there's stuff in PQ's wonky canon about the reaper being there to put s stop to exterminate threats that disrupt the natural order of the cosmos. So why doesn't it automatically eliminate the most vital humans causing these disruptions, as Nyx is not a natural cause and is only being triggered by them? Then there's even more stuff where Erebus and the Sea of Souls having a super deep area that existed before life took form or became sentient, which contradicts the Axiom's role, actions and existence flat out.
The Axiom cannot exist so long as this guy exists in the Persona universe and vice versa. Unless Atlus does some retconning where they make these two beings one and the same (which I would LOVE to see be a thing), they can't be connected otherwise.
You didn't understand what I was getting at there, did you.
>The crown of this development was a plane of shared information between all living beings on earth, the so-called “Collective Unconscious”.
> The Axiom bestowed upon humanity the power of Observation when they were created, allowing them to give form to their beliefs and thoughts.
According to this, Nyx and the Axiom both gave humanity the same thing. Ergo, they're different names for the same entity. Nyx is just the name a bunch of dumb shits who thought ending the world sounded like a great idea gave to the physical body of the Axiom.
I didn't understand what you were getting at because your connection between the two is utterly retarded. Why the hell would the Axiom constantly create messieh's to keep humanity functioning if it wanted to randomly nuke it? The Axiom isn't an outer being, it IS the multiverse itself. Hell, your post doesn't even align with 's copypasta of Nyx's lore. It's not even a connection thing anymore. You're post doesn't work with Nyx's explained lore or The Great Will's.
