What is wrong with the 3?

Nothing because some 5 won't happen. They said of sims 4 doesn't sell well, there won't be another.

i meant that i want a game that takes the sims 3's core structure and mechanics and builds upon it. sims 4 was like reverting back to sims 2 but with a few improvements to graphics and character creation. it didnt take what made 3 good and capitalise on it.

A full game at launch, and about half the number of necessary expansions.

But, realistically, how about Sims 2 style gameplay, where you could have 4 or 5 separate families, and run them in succession without breaking anything?

I dunno, I haven't played 4 yet, maybe it does this?

I'm trying to marry my daughter for a long time in TS4 but every single male sim sucks, and i also got a teenager granddaughter to marry in the future. I feel stuck.

I'd say sims 3 with sims 4 aesthetics and improved mechanics if that's possible. Sims 4 sims are the best ones so far.

Unfortunately it's just possible with mods. Not sure if they fixed it, but there's this culling system that erases and renovates townies every ingame week or something. (including your sims unless you put them as playable households)

The Sims Medieval was pretty fucking good, too bad they discontinued it and got way too repetitive. Give it a try.

Is this worth buying on PS4?
Haven't played The Sims since 2010.

Marketing. The main audience is middle-aged housewives, it's really hard to market a video game to them.

PS4 game is exactly the same as the PC version so far, the only downside is no mods. I bet it's gonna be fucking annoying to give commands to sims with a joystick.

We need EA to kill the series first and then we'll get a revival years later

For it not to exist. In the same way that Cities Skylines is the true next Sim City, I want soomeone else to come along and do the same with the Sims formula. I want EA to burn.

why would you wait for a sim game? they're only feature complete at the end of their life cycle when all of the expansions are out
sim 5 will be barebones for years after release
