Still playing western games

>Still playing western games

Baiting NeoGaf is fun, right OP?

What game started this shitty gold edition trend?

Oh I still play 'em. I just don't pay for 'em.

This right here.
Haven't bought a Ubishit game since Ass Creed Revelations

this includes the expansion pack. this is different from charging extra money on release day for some little faggy piece of dlc.

>piece of dlc
You mean cut content.

Hah you a baby watch this

...

>tfw i haven't paid more than 10 bucks for a video game in over a decade
Stop giving away your money if you don't think it's a good deal.

Someone post the train simulator one.

>"""western games"""

Those are called normie games.

There are plenty of western games that aren't $60, and if you need me to give you examples, you're a normie.

I haven't paid 60$/fullprice for a game in years. Nothing has been so compelling that i couldn't wait until it was bargain bin status. All those games are meh to terrible.

I think its not that games have gotten worse, its that they haven't improved beyond graphics, animations, technology improvements and controls. The gameplay hasn't improved very much at all, thats why old games still get bought nowadays, they aren't outshined by new games.

With the exception of Shovel Knight and Dishonored, I haven't paid more than $5. Sometimes, even $5 is too much.

>almost bought Metro 2033 for $5
>decided to wait
>suddenly it's in the $1 tier of a Humble bundle

>almost bought Assassin's Creed III for $7.50
>decide to wait
>suddenly Ubisoft gives it away for free

LOL
Western games are fucking trash.

>$100 really is the new standard
Worst timeline

When adjusted for inflation, that's about as much as games cost in the 80s and 90s. Meanwhile, dev budgets have blown up into the tens of millions, and marketing budgets have gone even higher, so it's pretty understandable that they want to charge $100. What I don't like is the mobage shit that's becoming the norm in AAA. The sequel to Shadow of War will probably require cash shop items to dominate more than one captain a day or some shit.

Or you get them not on steam for 20-30% off. new game 45 bucks is nice.

Hello my fellow goyim will you mind if you can buy one of are games in

Someone post that catalog of game prices pre world wide web
