I enjoy it, worth 11 bucks in my opinion. has really fun combat, pretty much all classes are fun to play.

This game is the very definition of better than the sum of its parts. It's janky as fuck but equally as fun.

If you have Dark Arisen on PS3 it's the same content with some usability improvements (I think it's unlimited fast travel now) and of course better performance.

Well, I know it's late but, yeah, it's worth it.

Depends on the version you got.
You could have the original sans Dark Arisen.
PC version obviously come all that plus better looking. It's not DMC4 but it can run well on lesser machines.

Neither are very good, and you're not missing out on any talent either way.

Besides making them and picking out the best gear and abilities, they're only there to help you play the game. you don't need to hold their hands through every single thing

It's cheaper, MUCH cheaper. I believe enemies at a certain point drop it much more often, especially in BitterBlack Isle.

English. DD has some of the best localization I've seen in a video game. They really went out of their way to make the world feel authentic with the language characters use.

PC version has mods to:
- Change your class whenever wherever, or your pawn's
- Improve the level curve of all classes or just hybrid classes
- Improve textures(icons, landscape, character, clothing)
- Improve graphics
- Improve enemy placements
- Triple enemy spawn numbers
- Randomize the size of monsters
- Edit your saves(can edit all of your pawns too, 3 custom pawns etc)
- Edit augments(faster casting, using all augments at once, increasing torch radiance etc)
- QOL/cheat mods for instance infinite running, higher jumping, no encumbrance, etc
- Reskins for armors to further customize what your characters look like
- Ability to use NPC only clothing or hairs
- FLYING INTO FREE.mp3 mod
- Use any piece of gear as any class, that means you can use a greatsword with a bow or a magic sword with a magic bow
- Free camera for screenshots
- Time modifier for either faster or slower gameplay
- Bunch of mods to enhance the spells
- Weapon model swap, remove Adept Hat flaps, and shorten capes mods
- Nude mods or hex editing body model presets
- Bloom texture improvement mod

I don't think you can call it a localisation in the traditional sense. The game initially ONLY had English voice acting, they put in Japanese way later, if I remember correctly. Possibly with the release of Dark Arisen?

Yes, they restored the Guts and Griffith armor sets. Only on PS4 and Xbone for some reason though.
