Why would you want to play GB/GBC games on anything other than a GBC screen (or OG dot matrix screen if you're old school)?
Micro's screen is specifically made for GBA games.

yeah.
SP is alright (the 101 model anyway), but the screen still stretches the resolution a bit. On Micro GBA games look the sharpest, and GB/GBC games look the best on the GBC.

Huh? I thought the opposite, micro has the most "depth" colors, and I found SP to be kind of washed out (might be because of the stretching)

I have a hacked 2DS

No way. You're probably thinking of the frontlit SP, which was more washed out, but the backlit SP is way more colorful and vibrant.

I have always wondered how this works. Can you only play games that didnt need the dualshock? What about l2 and r2?

it's posible but you need to map them in other buttons, the psp puts them in the analog stick by default, but i change them to the left and right d-pad and move all the movement on the analog stick. i still recomend you to play games that don't rely on the R2 and L2 buttons because it is still annoying.
