In all seriousness, I think it's the best Zelda-like game (that's not Zelda), full stop.

I enjoyed it more than OoT because playing it for the first time--on the 3DS--it felt like was a very basic Zelda game. I get that they translated 2D Zelda to 3D almost flawlessly (enemies have same attack patterns/weaknesses for example) and added Z-Targeting and whatever, but I liked Darksiders more.

Combat was faster paced than Zelda, weapons were all great, interesting take on Revelations/end of the world, great voice acting, things like that.

I'm sure if I grew up with OoT, I'd be on the 10/10 bandwagon, but unfortunately, I didn't.

Yes, they do, but they did not revolutionize the genre like Super did. Super came first, and you damn well know it fucking changed the genre forever. A slew of these games came afterwards, and you better believe they were influenced by Super. Now I know some faggot in here is going to say "b-b-but this obscure game came first!" maybe so, but it was barely on the radar and for that very reason it didn't accomplish shit. No one is saying Super is the best game in existence, but it rightfully earns its reputation. Have a little perspective you fucking faggots.
