Its a hack n slash action game with heavy RPG elements in a style similar to Devil may Cry, Bayonetta, or Metal Gear Rising.
It has a really nifty story structure which plays out over thousands of years, and retells the same story from different perspectives. It has several campaigns, and it is likely the best game of the decade. Check it out if you are able, but check out the PS4 version, not the PC port which is shit.
