50 hour rpg epic

>50 hour rpg epic
>10 hour platformer
>Priced the same

Why do people think this is acceptable?

dumb hamster poster

I want to fuck Umaru

I'd rather play 10 hours of a platformer than a 50-hour yawnfest

>50 hours of shit
>10 hours of fun

hmmm...

>Jumping on shit and looking for random coins
>Fun

Sometimes I don't want to play a game forever and just keep it short. Moreover, playing long games have a tendency to make me lose patience and quit before I even completed them. In other words, it is nice with short games.

>picking brainless actions from a menu at leisure while a cast of teenage animes retread the same tired character tropes for the hundredth time

no thanks

a lot more fun that masturbating to a character creation screen for 2 hours

Would you prefer the 50 hour rpg be more expensive? Because that's the only way this is going to happen.

wow you sure showed me with that fancy picture you didn't make

I want the short one to be cheaper

Because everyone except you realizes that if we didn't expect games to be priced the same they would charge more for the 50 hour epic rather than charge less for the 10 hour platformer

because hours of play does not correlate directly to worth, cost to produce, or any real meaning in monetary terms.

>frozen pizza from the supermarket
>one piece of chicken filet
>priced the same

Why do people think this is acceptable?

yes it does

>"here's your 200 hour RPG"
>"what, you don't like the same content recycled over and over? But it's excellent value for money"

>Food analogies
>Sensible arguments
>Considered the same

Why do anons on Sup Forums think this is acceptable

I'm just posting food analogies to shitpost, but thanks for the (You)

Just fuck off dumb hamster poster.

Too bad. This is the video game industry. If anything we're lucky they aren't charging 90 dollars or more for the RPG, because they can pretty much get away with anything these days (see: season passes, online only games, etc.)

...

>Imagine having the autism where everything has to have a dollar for dollar correlation.

I don't suppose you want to pay more for games that give you 1000s of hours of game time?

I mean I don't particularly want to but clearly it would be fair to pay more for more content yes.

That's just make people shit out even more ubisoft/bethesda tier open world ENDLESS BLAND GAMEPLAY type garbage, or move people to quit making singleplayer games altogether in favor of multiplayer

...

...

DELETE!

RPGs are more spread out fun, while platformers are more condensed fun.

or RPGs are just boring shit.

...

but then

>1 Horse Penis
>10 Nubian BBCs
>100 white boiz
>Are considered on the same playing field
Why do people think this is acceptable?

RPG's have artificial length. It's all walking and cut scenes.
