Are there any let's players who do informative videos i.e. pointing out things most people don't know about, talking about the mechanics or development of the game and other things, sort of like a commentary track for movies.
I know there's like a million of these types of videos for Dark Souls so there must be channels who do them for other games.
Picture is to get people to click on this thread.

Black knights > Gold Knights
Carter Gutierrez
Chuggaconroy, if you don't mind a splash of autism
Zachary White
I used to have this same set, but all the pieces were missing and I only had the gold king.
Grayson Rodriguez
I've had the exact same castle & knights as a kid.
Asher Allen
He is utter trash.
Supagogoman is the only remotely good one. Lp is a horrendous medium.
Also >e-celeb shit Read the sticky.
Hunter Sullivan
Ross is great. Check out Ross dungeons.
Jackson Lee
>my sister broke all of the black knights and the drawbridge
Nathan Nguyen
Holy fuck I remember this set. I'd have my hamster living at the top, good fucking times.
Lucas Stewart
everyone knows this set was far superior.
Caleb Rivera
theres one youtuber called ThreadbareInc who does a lecture on each episode of a game he's playing. He's best ones are on Deus ex
Asher Howard
>saying e-celebs and let's plays are shit while simultaneously giving a genuine recommendation for a let's player Cognitive dissonance must be tough.
Jeremiah Scott
I still have this. None of the knights though, and the catapult is busted. Cannon is still fine though, and that's what matters.
Brandon Ramirez
>being this much in denial
Luis Howard
stop watching "lets players" you faggot, do something useful instead of watching some idiot play a video game
Isaiah Morgan
I used to just roll marbles around on this castle for hours pretending they were knights
Nolan Thomas
I still play with this set with my nephew.
Grayson Miller
supergreatfriend is pretty good
Angel Phillips
I guess that depends on the particular Let's Play.
Like how Super Best Friends Play does a bit when it's something they know a bit about beforehand, like Silent Hill 2 or I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, but a lot of their stuff is just going in blind for fun.
Tyler Bennett
Chuggaconroy for nintendo games.
>He is uttertrash Elaborate. I get he's autistic but his videos are very informative.
Jason Rodriguez
ChipCheezum has pretty informative Metal Gear Solid video series (plural)
Camden Richardson
fun for them, not for the viewer also >blind >when pat is on controls
Elijah Cook
idk most of the shit I hear about mechanics from streamers is bullshitting and excuse making. There's always that one guy that's super autistic about graphics in every Sup Forums thread (mostly pc games) but I can't think of any streamers that like that fixated/knowledgeable.
Jeremiah Richardson
>fun for them, not for the viewer I don't really give a shit about them playing the game perfectly. I watch for commentary.
If I wanted pure gameplay efficiency I'd watch a speedrun.
Christian Hughes
Well, there are lots of channels and guides to plat DF. I mean, you can play it by months and still learn you things.
Owen Reed
>a castle you can't destroy and rebuild in a different way Where is the fun in that?
Colton Gonzalez
>implying I didn't have both Still remember how to put it together. Man, I really loved that glow in the dark ghost.
Jose Price
The glow in the dark ghost was the best minifig Lego ever made.
I don't think I put any Lego set together the way the instructions showed more than once, it was always mixing stuff together. I never even imagined that people like the father in the Lego Movie may actually exist.
Kayden Price
I have the parts of many different castles, none complete, in a box I got from a garage sale. Never managed to build a castle that didn't look like a rainbow box. Maybe one day. I do have more baseplates now though.
Michael Reed
It's actually a powerful memory technique. It's probably why it's so easy to remember how to do. Everything has a place and sequence that stuff is just easy to remember in a 3 dimensional context. It's why people unironically do the "mind palace" shit to remember stuff. Our brains evolved in way that helped us survive, part that was being able to effectively map resources over large areas. Appealing to that huntergather brain helps us remember a lot of intangible shit.
