DLC lets you play as the antagonist

>DLC lets you play as the antagonist

>DLC lets you play as a boss
>ends right as the main character shows up to defeat you

name one (4) games that do this

Plague of shadows dlc for shovel Knight

not op but Dishonored is one

arkham asylum (PS3 exclusive, PCbros eternally btfo)

Half life: Opposing Force

theres that DLC in dragon age origins that lets you play as darkspawn
it was nice though

>Play as bad guy who wants to become a good guy

Shantae HGH

Hyrule Warriors

>defeated bosses get added to your party after antagonizing MC for the whole world they're the boss of
>still have a bunch of their cool moves from the fight
>start off antagonizing MC and other party members, eventually get to the point where they protect them and other characters with their lives
>can enter a code at start of game to play through main campaign as boss
>behaves like the boss does, i.e. speeding through dialogue, not talking to people they don't have to, brute forcing through puzzles
>DLC lets you see origins of some bosses
>shows how they recruited henchman who annoyed MC throughout boss's world
I'm working on something like this now, but it's still early in the planning/writing phase. Got the worlds planned out, got the major characters done, but need to play with some dialogue and the ending a bit more.

U makin a game? The concept is interesting desu

Game?

>It's better than the main game

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II

Dead Island
Dead Rising 3 (It does this twice with two bosses)

metal gear rising revengeance

Starcraft 2 maybe.

>DLC exists
shit game

Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem had some bonus dlc scenarios that let you play as Gharnef and his lackeys for a map

>DLC lets you play as every faction in the game, as well as revisit campaign levels from the perspectives of a character who aided the protagonist

Based Metro

Batman Arkham Knight (Red Hood, Azrael, Harley Quinn)
Resident Evil 5 (Wesker, Excella)
NieR: Automata (2B)
Madden NFL 17 (New England Patriots)

2B was never the antagonist, it was her job to murder 9S every time he got close/figured out the truth because that's what Yorha designed her for, she is remorseful and angry about it because she loves him.

>loves him

Not canon

it's canon, fag.
