You guys ever finished a masterpiece of a game and then for days or weeks after no other game seems fun or enjoyable? How did you learn to love again? Any recommendations that can easy my suffering?

I just beat Chaos Theory and jumped into Kingdoms of Alamur and i just cant enjoy it at all.

yes,i just waited a week or 2 without playing anything and that was it,was myself again hating all other shit

what game did that to you my dude?

That image is pretty hot

I dont have source but feel free to save and throw into the good old spank folder

>just beat Chaos Theory
You're probably going to have to play something similar to ease yourself out of the rut. Maybe another Splinter Cell or stealth game in general.

Haven't had it happen to me in a while, remember early Bioware games(Mass Effect too) and Persona titles hitting me when they ended, but that was from growing attached to the characters.

>Kingdoms of Alamur
To be fair it's kind of shit

Yep
I never played a Max Payne game and got the second one from a friend. Just wanted to try out if it works on my PC and played for 4 hours straight without noticing. Holy fuck I still can't believe how fucking good that game is, not only from a gameplay perspective, but everything else fits just so smoothly together.
So now I'll go play the first one. Oh by the way if you haven't played Max Payne GO FUCKING DO IT

Amalur is kind of shit though dude

Nice back

>inb4 pattycake's fat lesbian site admin DMCAs this thread

>jumped into Kingdoms of Alamur and i just cant enjoy it at all.
That's because amalur has no redeeming qualities.

Either:

>stop playing vidya for a month
This way you will be starving for anything substantially engaging, or.

>play a really shitty game up to the end
If your standards are currently too high, just get something horrible on your mind, after finishing your average game will feel much better.

There hasn't been a masterpiece of a game for over 11 years.

if only things were as good as when you were a kid

Is Underrail any good?

I'm really curious to see how she completely got that over her

>Jumped into Kingdoms of Alamur
You picked white bread after eating beef wellington my dude

>mfw the image set and the video are gone forever

I said 11 years ago not over 20 years ago.

>implying

Nothing of value will be lost to be perfectly h. I didn't like any of her slime/goo shit.

Felt like that after finishing The Witcher 3 to be honest.

Fuck the haters, that game was great.

>currently playing Kingdoms of Amalur
fuck you :(

I don't know, i've been having this for 2 years

I never recovered from F.E.A.R All other FPS games are fucking boring in comparison and it's the only game I can constantly replay and still enjoy.

I got burned out on it because I was trying to do all of the side missions and I couldn't keep up with it all. It was too much. I never picked it back up.

Same for me.
I really get sucked into certain characters and universes. I had a big hole in my heart after Undertale, Life is Strange, Edna and Harvey, Doki Doki, and some Final Fantasy games

>tfw NieR Automata was the last game you we're genuinely looking forward too after MGSV
>tfw you can't look forward to games anymore
I don't even want to play it again to tarnish the experience, I honestly think it's the logical conclusion to gaming in its entirety.

The only other game that has potential is Death Stranding, and we have absolutely no fucking idea what is going to happen with that.

don't be greedy please

Said fuck it and modding Thief 2 to replay it so i can satisfy my autism and finally play Deadly Shadows after.
Gald it's not just me

I found the pic on Sup Forums. wtf was the video about?!?!?

Bump for interest i hear mixed things so ive passed it on during the past couple sales.

>played Max Payne 2 first
Ya done fucked up man. the first game is GREAT game but 2 means more if you've played 1 first.

Don't bother
It's from a website called messygirl, there're hundreds of sets and videos with women covered in random shit

>don't even want to play it again to tarnish the experience
Good games can and do survive multiple replays. That's why they're good.

Anyways the hype engine is a corporate construct. The last "dream team" game we had was the bouncer, and while not 10/10 it had nearly none of the high profile baggage.

Happens to me after every game that's at least half decent, especially the longer ones. Right now I'm suffering after putting 100 hours into Bravely Default. NG+ sounds tempting, but I also want to move ahead with my backlog.

>How did you learn to love again?
Time heals.

>Any recommendations that can easy my suffering?
Don't think of vidya for a week or two. Occupy yourself with something else than vidya for a while, ideally some real world activity.

Why was your OP pic deleted?

This fucking guy right here

Crysis semi scratched an itch after it, but there was true greatness waiting to happen after those 2 games, and it never came.

i guess the mods are prudes or someshit
