>savage deviljho bursts in
>werewolves of london blares at full volume, clipping the speakers
>keeps going even after you finish the quest and go back to the village
sounds good to me

>tfw never listen to albums, but my very own, custom playlists

I listen to video game music

retarded bllshit threads on the front page and this slips to page 6 with 5 replies
I gotchu OP

What was the last actual album you listened to?

I dunno... Yoshi's Story OST ?

>super castlevania 4

kek

Thursday - Waiting
LA Noire

not very fitting, bad pairing
was also listening to time out from dave brubeck quartet
although it works better LA Noire is very distinctly 40s and time out is 1959, almost 60s, I wouldnt pair them either

the game would have no music at all. i've never listened to an official album

this kind of bums me out that people dont really listen to full albums anymore
we're reverting back to the singles era of the 60's
I hope we soon come into the style of the album oriented 70s
doubt it though
its also kind of weird to think about how relatively short recorded music albums have been around as an art form

Caves of Qud

Pretty chill for all the weird mutations and psychic shit going on.

>he exclusively listens to bootlegs

really? you've never listened to a full album all the way through?
just out of curiosity, how old are you and what type of music do you like?

>Cuphead
>Late Registration by Kanye West

My nigga Dave East banging over Hollow Knight

I've started this weird habit of listening to music in reverse, gives a new perspective on the song and gives me ideas for melodies
it started because I wanted to hear the guitar solos on the red hot chili pepper's give it away 'normal' because they were put in reversed on the normal song
listening to the song in reverse sounds super manic and weird yet familiar, gives me anxiety

>Thursday
muh nigguh
Also I was listening to pic related last, and the last game I actually played Pokemon White 2.
Honestly that does sound like it would be pretty unfitting, I don't even know where each song would be played but I imagine it would make the game feel like this surreal experience

>Westside Connection
>Resident Evil 4

>Kirby Triple Deluxe
>Madvillainy
Two great tastes don't always go great together. Total clash of aesthetic there.

28 and i don't listen to music. thats sorta the point but if you forced me to pick a genre i'd say pop.

the reason I was listening to that album was because there was a good GTA III thread earlier and I got thinking how if there was a GTA game made now but took place 16 years ago like vice city did then it would have a early 2000s soundtrack and I was thinking about what stations and songs there would be
there could be like a college rock station that played bands like thursday and interpol and those under the radar at the time bands

>implying Raid doesn’t go well with everything

I was going to assume you were either pretty young
or one of those people who simply dont get enjoyment from music
theatlantic.com/health/archive/2017/03/please-dont-stop-the-music-or-do-stop-the-music-i-dont-really-mind/519099/

I find it fascinating because music plays a big part of my life, if I'm in a bad mood just listening to my favorite records can make me feel better

pls do me a favor, take the time to listen to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, all the way through
get some good headphones if you can, and just lay on your bed or somewhere comfortable and just listen to the entire album, maybe when you are about to go to bed do this
I feel like everybody should listen to that album all the way through at least once in their lives

>i don't listen to music
>i'd say pop

man like whatever you want to but I can't even fathom the idea of not being interested in music, even most normies I know have SOMETHING they listen to frequently

>World of Warcraft
Doom/stoner metal works well when you're playing MMOs in general.
A good MMORPG using sword and sorcery aesthetics and a doom soundtrack would probably be lit as fuck.

Duck Game + Humanz
Uhh......

well i assumed vidya music didn't count but i do listen to vidya music a lot. plus i like the music from homestuck

will do. i've heard good things about it.

See, before I got into music like I am now i listened to vidya music and homestuck but stuff i heard on podcasts and what not shifted my tastes significantly

psst.
Click that YouTube link.
Some great covers of Dark Side of the Moon there.

if possible, listen to it on CD, I'm sure someone like your dad has it
if not possbile a good quality digital file would work
streaming is fine too but if you use a free service like spotify you'll get commercials that really fuck up the mood
listening through youtube is ok I guess but you run the risk of shitty sound quality
I just want you to listen at the best possible format because that album was made with care by people who really knew what the fuck they were doing sonically when it came to recording and mastering

I'm generally not a big fan of covers, especially something that was originally executed flawlessly but I'll give it a listen

>Merzbow's Life Performance
>Persona 5
Normalfags would be upset and confused.

youtube.com/watch?v=CAUOTGJhXXE&list=PLzvbDluYZYhSY9bI8nozTSIFZ_mlbQjre

I've been a Sup Forums-fag since 08 and even I can't fucking into Merzbow
and I've tried multiple times
sometimes it's soothing in the way that a vacuum cleaner sound is soothing but idk man

>BFBC2
>King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard

Works out well

Gwar's Bloody Pit of Horror is now the soundtrack for Path of Exile. Fucking perfect.

It doesn't work

>pic related
>Grim Dawn
Eh, I don't know. Both are good, but I'm not sure if they would really go together...

Well, Clutch does not at all fit with Crusader Kings 2, as awesome as Neil Fallon is.

Does an endless loop of Sweet Home Alabama count as an album? If so, that and Warframe.

I got weird vibes, but I dig my space trucker.

It's cathartic as shit for me, the same way punk or metal are. It's emotional relief and it's energizing. I also like to wonder what I'm actually listening to, whether it's low fidelity samples of everyday sounds getting warped in production or a synthesizer dialed to fucked settings or tapes being cut up and played through in weird order or some combination of the three. Noise is way unconventional too, there's no rules to it and I can dig that.
/essay

what the actual fuck... lust in space and diablo 2. i blame the new album

Vaporwave playlist and Xcom 2

Why isn't that Zora Link and his fishbone guitar?

>or one of those people who simply dont get enjoyment from music
Why would you assume this based solely on somebody not listening to full albums? I don't understand your reasoning here.

>Etrian Odyssey V
It could work, everything would be more sad though. I'm only at the 3rd Stratum, do any of the remaining stratums look like the album art?

it's not that much of a stretch
I just don't see how you can make it to 28 and never have listened to a full album
I listen to full albums almost every single day and have since I was like 8

Dr. Latency's Freak Report
Touhou 15: Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom

dang

>Super Eurobeat 003
>GTA SA
It's perfect

>Ken Ashcorps Stuff, no Idea if its a Album
>War for the Overworld
Would perfectly work, if you would make it a game about creating a dungeon home for monstergirls.
