Are FADC Combos the perfect example of artificial difficulty?

I just played Ultra Street Fighter 4 and this basic BNB (this stands for bread and butter, some sort of urban slang) combo for beginner character Ryo where you uppercut fadc ultra is as follows:

Right, down, Right-down, Middle punch (shoryuken), middle punch+middle kick (focus attack), right, right, (dash cancel) down, down-right, right, down, down-right, right, Light punch+middle punch+hard punch (ultra).

WHAT THE FUCK? In 5 fucking minutes I made it as far as the dash cancel.

I watched a youtube video of Daigo Umihora and Jonathan Choi playing each other (DLC Ryu vs Regular Ryu) at EVO and they were both dropping FADC combos. These dudes are both 35 years old and have been playing fighting games since they were teens.

How is this justifiable?

Even Pokken has FADC, and while Pokken as a whole isn't a casualized game and actually has a fairly high skill ceiling, it's inputs ARE made easy for casuals.

Doing EWGF is infinitely easier than doing these long ass combos with precise timing. I'm shit at fighting games and can pull off EWGF 70% of the time.

Fighting games need four to eight buttons

Shoryuken + Focus + Dash Forward + Ultra.

if you know how to perform a shoryuken, hadoken, sonic boom, flashkick, yoga flame ,spining pile driver and haoh shokoken. then you can pretty much use that to understand every move. example

Ibuki's dash is a yoga flame + k
anti air = shoryuken + k
E.Honda headbut = sonic boom + p
special grab = spd or spinning pile driver.

How to do specials in KOF
Kyo, Terry = reverse hadoken, yoga flame + P
Ryo Sakazaki = Hadoken, reverse yoga flame + P

user what they are doing is called Option Select.

basically each time they do the cr.MK, they also perform Ken's art, if the kick misses then nothing happens, but if the kick does connect wheter it hits or is blocked then the art is going to come out.

Because a lot of people that actually put time and effort into any sort of videogame are usually autists, but fighting games have way more for some reason.

any decent 3s player actually does confirm it, cause getting super when your button got blocked makes you eat shit
they buffer the input every time they throw the button out usually, the only time it's a true OS is if they have just the right amount of meter than they'll have enough for the super only if it hits and not if it's blocked or parried

this is not the case 100% of the time. it's generally pretty true but people can and do purely confirm off of the cr.MK hitting, mostly with chun since she has like 15 years to confirm it hitting, but you'll also see it with the shotos as well

it only works if your DP is made to hit late enough for whatever reason, most commonly off of an anti-air. also used to be really common to trade DP with another attack and then ultra but i think that got removed in like ssf4

no by all means, i'd like to see it in action, a live demonstration would be fantastic.

FADC is incredibly lenient. It buffers your inputs and if you are holding 6 as you press MP+MK that counts as 1 of the 6s that you have to input for a dash. In sf4 a 3 also counts as a 6 so you can do 623+p for a dp, press MP+MK and then you only have to go back to neutral and do another 3,6 or 9 to get a dash. Then you have an eternity to do the ultra motion.

the movement is crack once you learn it 2bh, I can't enjoy normal fighting games as much because of how tight melee is
the magnet ledges and lack of jump momentum really make playing smash4 hurt for me
