Not from a cursory look at the diets of living things, no. It only makes sense in the context of evolutionary biology if we look at how early we discovered fire. Otherwise it seems really strange that every single animal on this planet but us can pretty much gobble up shit at random and be fine.

But it's mainly because the processing and handling of stock and raw meat usually means that it is unsafe to eat without first cooking.
Chickens are usually battery caged if I recall, they are also pumped with growth hormones which also accelerates the growth and division of harmful bacteria.
The same with corn feeding for stock, because of american corn subsidies etc etc. That's before you even account for travel time and shelf time the product has before you cook it.
