I'd unironically plan on getting this to go along with a GBA SP NES edition. The only reason why I won't do this is because the NES GBA version only has the shit AGS 001 screen

I'm cheap, so I just wrapped mine in Super Famicom vynil wrap from Ali. Mostly for scratch protection and because blue n3ds xl slippery as fuck, but it looks kinda nice too.

Yeah, you can make cia VC injects. I just download ready injects from 3dsiso forums. Works fine.

SNES VC games only run on the New 3DS. There's SNES9x for 3DS which runs games the VC emulator can't run like Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Island and Star Fox, but it only runs at full speed on a New 3DS for the more intensive games.

You could probably run graphically non-intensive SNES games on your old 3DS using SNES9x
