difference is VERY minor it seems. And isnt even linear in performance.

Its also not a perfect test if you do it in the case because modern day slots for PCIE risers also probably have worse placement in the case for non blower coolers.

This test even had an INCREASE in fps with a riser, so it seems like a very very minor difference, either way.

I had a square mousepad like this user but I decided to just buy one that covered the whole desk.
It looks better, feels better and the keyboard doesn't slide on wood which is nicer.

Strange, I had to use chiclet keyboards at my previous job at the office and I hated every moment of it. And yes, the cat loves it, all the heat exhausts through the top so whenever I play games he just sleeps on top of the case.
Downside is I need to clean kitty hair very often.
