i used to, but it turns out i just wasn't blinking enough
big if true
My vision is perfect and I do not get eyestrain.
You should've gotten better genetics, user.
stop playing in the dark like a cave troll
Don't play in the dark
Drink a lot of water
Each hour do some exercise, like some push-ups
Don't play too close of your screen
>not going to sleep when you're done playing vidya
I couldn't care less about eyestrain.
>gaming all day
>why are my eyes hurting?
Combination of multiple factors. Like other people said, it's easy to forget to blink if you binge on certain games that require constant attention because there's constant action happening on the screen.
It's also important to remember that there are literally muscles in your eyes that can become strained if you fixate upon on object (your monitor) at a very specific distance for a very long amount of time. It's important to take a 10 minute break at least every 2 hours, though it should really be every hour. The eye strain doesn't cause permanent damage but it can give you a headache if you work at an office environment 10 hours a day.

Pic related. The ciliary muscles are usually the part of your eye that becomes strained if excessive computer or console use is giving you a headache. Lack of sleep can make it even worse.
but the screen looks better in the dark you fucking RETARD
turn brightness down on all your screens, don't touch contrast because that'll fuck up the picture but brightness is a-ok
stupid loliposter
adjust backlight according to the time of day
install flux on your PC
turn color temperature to warm in tv settings
i have a flux equivalent on my phone, too. it helps a lot at night time.
sell ps4.
buy pc.
install f.lux.
stop using phone for anything that isn't checking time/turning off alarms/calling your mum to remind her you haven't killed yourself yet.
headache status: gone.
>install flux on your PC
this most
you got shit genetics son.
install flux and then turn it the fuck off when you're playing games or watching movies or looking at images, or skip installing it and just turn down your brightness so you don't fuck up the colors of literally everything you view
Stop looking at screens all day. Take regular breaks.
but it's implemented in windows so why install. same with phones. most have automatic "go to fucking orange at night" mode build in.
Go outside and play some sports.
When I can't bear eyepain I use "f.lux" (app)
Or take a break every 6-10 hours, stare outside, look at far places, etc etc (iirc this helps)
tips:
wash face/shower regularly
clean your bedroom (dust can hurt your eyes, a lot)
you might need eyedrops depending on the case
