There's always threads for good maps, but never for the bad. Post the most poorly designed and/or unbalanced maps of all time.

Aztec related

speaking of counter-strike, the popularity of dust2 over the last 15 years has made lots of people unaware of how shitty dust1 is. Similar to what you said about aztec, one of the bombsites is at CT spawn and about 20 miles from the T spawn. half the map is ignored and all the action happens in one hallway and bombsite

I literally came here to post dust1. And I hate fucking Aztec. I usually am not the one to blame AWPs or anything, but that map is so camp-y.

Fallen Fighters in RO2. Literally crawling on your stomach for 30 minutes while the tanks and MG's gun anyone who pokes their head up. A unique experience but not fun to play.

How is there a "bad map" thread and nobody has mentioned cs_assault?
There's are only 3 entrances to the warehouse. One is a squeeky door, the other is vents that make a loud "clonk" noise when you drop in and the other is a wide as fuck no mans land that you have to crouch slowly through to get in. What the fuck?

Yeah I never liked dust 1, it was never played in the pro scene either and for good reason.

We didn't know any better back then. All hostage maps are imba, anyway.

I loved assault despite the obvious imbalance. I always tried to play CT for the challenge. breaking through the T's control of the facility was an awesome rush. If T's played it right they should win every time so finding those gaps in coverage and striking at the right time was ace.

also, assault spawned some awesome modded maps like assault_necro and assault_snow4
