How much of a meme are gathering skills? Do the stack?

Only take one point now and they stack.

Anyone do the quest to find the secret path on floor 19? I found one but it says the crystal is too hard.

multiples of the same race don't seem to stack. I tried making a gathering party of 4 humans + 1 bunny and the lvl 5 +all gathering doesn't seem to get more than one additional item. The bunny specific Mining only one however seems to get +2-4 items though.

The all gathering skill sucks in comparison, after the first one it's really low chance. The others stack more or less properly.

I charged into the first boss at level 15 and got wrecked. I'm going to do some quests and explore around floor four and five a bit more before trying again.

Do you have to draw your own maps?

15 should be plenty high for the first boss. Did you block off the golem spawners?

It might be, but I'm sitting on 4-6 skill points for all my characters since I haven't decided what to invest in yet. I was lacking AoE options and couldn't keep up. I think I'll do better next time.

I gotcha. I could barely keep up with a warlock and harbinger doing pretty good line damage and I was really TP starved by the end.

Man I looked at other people fighting the boss and they all have 400+ damage hits. Then I look at my party where the best I can do is try to bind a little one with a monk that max hits at like 120.

There's an option to have the game auto-map walls and floor tiles that you run on, but you gotta mark gather points and such yourself.

Wait, but does each earthlain with the gathering skill grant you an additional item per member or not? I'm interested in making a gathering party to farm scopes.

So is anyone high enough level to confirm that the reaper well and truly sucks ass? I'm hoping it just starts out slow and once you get further on it becomes amazing, because if not I'm hauling fucking dead weight around for no reason.

I hate the weight mechanic on this game, I wish they put a number or some shit.

So healers should be weaponless, right? What about my front line dps? Whats the sweet point or the best kind of armor for them? Samurai and puligist

no its fucking shit, its not guaranteed to trigger multiple gets. you usually only get 1 additional item per point regardless of how many earthlain gatherbitches youve got.

You're flat out just better getting 1 of each.

Is it one long dungeon or is it like EO4 where it's multiple smaller dungeons?

One big dungeon.

You can just rest a hero and it only costs 2 levels, that shouldn't be a big deal as long as you don't fuck up a bunch of times.

You can do fencer chains if you get a shaman and buff the party's weapons with an element.

You also get follow-ups from piercing damage but bows are the only weapon with default pierce damage.

Immediately after 2nd stratum boss.

Kind of lame, I wish it was more like in the middle of 8F or something with a tougher boss, although it's not like the boss is a huge pushover either.

Turn speed isn't everything user, you can't just nuthin personnel every big boss with lacking equipment just to act faster since they'll take their turn eventually and then splatter your party.

If it's really such a concern then equip some boots, that should make a significant difference.

I mean, I don't know the exact details of how it works but an NPC in the tavern (the walking encyclopedia) says to pay attention to equipment on your feet to act faster, which could only mean boots, and when I put some boots on my masurao they started moving a lot faster again.
