Was this area supposed to be a reference to 9/11 tower jumpers and a metaphor for how Madotsuki's emotional state was up until the ending
OFF if it was harder, but it's just too damn easy.
Lisa the Painful.

What was the point of this guy?
What was the point of half the game's cast?

Ok friends, so how exactly do i play Yumi Nikki? all i do is explore but since there's no definitive pathway, i get lost really easily. am i supposed to find the end of the game? how does this work
Good rule of thumb is to find a landmark and move in one direction relative to it until you return to that spot again. Say, go up until you loop back then go left until you loop back. Found nothing of interest? Find another landmark and try it again. Tedious as it sounds, half the fun of YN is the audiovisual component of it so it's less obnoxious when everything looks and sounds as neat as it does.
there's a specific way to navigate otherwise you will get stuck in a loop. you have to walk in the exact position something is in in order to get to other locations you won't normally find.

why
Whipped up some new Madotsuki.
Violated Heroine is pretty nice.
Sabatsuki is cute post more of her
...
>tfw tough man who doesn't cry
>tfw played YN during a /blog time in my life
>find video related
>youtube.com
>tear up at first song when flute starts playing
i don't get it
i don't fucking get it
>mfw trying to remember how to get to specific areas in yume 2kki
WHY IS YUME NIKKI 2 SO FUCKING HARD TO DOWNLOAD!?
Yume2kki
But Witch's House isn't that bad.
this game sucks. does it get better after you visit the princess
>aimlessly wandering around in yume nikki is less bland than an inspiring story about defying the odds and never giving up in witch's house
How does one enter the RPGmaker scene? I purchased a license on Steam a few months back and I like to make tidbits of games on it but not too sure where to post them for other enthusiasts to enjoy them.
Is Embric Wulfenhammer RPGmaker? If so, then that. If not, OFF
rpgmaker.net
You can also post your games directly on Steam.
RPGMaker 2k3.
>that ending
There was this RPGMaker horror game a long time ago that I saw streamed (I'm talking like maybe 8 years ago) which seemed to take place mostly in a large mansion and had a recurring theme of porcelain dolls. I THINK there was some kind of final fight in a dream-like flowery meadow or something.
It wasn't Ib.
rpgmaker threads sure have lost their steam over the years
plz. what is a little man in a tree with a stone in his throat and a twig in his hand? The hint basically says it's a fruit, but I answered "apple" but that's wrong.
>inb4 it's not an RPGMaker game
there's only one correct answer.
does this work?
where the fuck is the sequel?
I guess I have ADD because I tried playing Yume Nikki and I just couldn't stay interested. The general weirdness and some of the psychedelic locations were neat but I got bored after wandered around for half an hour trying to make sure I wasn't missing anything due to the world wraparound. Also not being able to move diagonally was a pain.
it's not an rpg maker game
I don't disagree that the exploration is a bit much. Just know that you can find cool stuff if you look hard enough. Or just use the wiki maps to find stuff. I definitely did after a while. Still loved the game even if I "cheated".
is that why its the only one I like?
yes
Who cares? It's really bad game.
I forgot about this. Where was it found?
sell me on it
not him but
good music
short
It starts out way better than where it ends up though imho.
are you implying there's a good ending?
mad father?
Middens and Gingiva are pretty well done surreal games.
No, that's the thing, it wasn't any of the mainstream ones everyone knows about it. I haven't found it since then. But it was translated.
At least I think it was. If it wasn't, that would explain it.

>It's bad when undertale tells the same story
Yeah, I gotta go with LISA The Painful.
I like games that make me think, like YN but I like games that can make me laugh even more.
OFF
>defeating an evil witch and reuniting a cute daughter with her loving father is now a bad ending
user pls, you're making VIOLA sad.
>it's not bad when every character is obnoxious as fuck and the most obnoxious of them all you can't even fight in any route whatsoever
LISA the painful and Middens for sure.
off, also oneshot
have a kot
Everlong
Alter A.I.L.A genesis
Final tear 3 (I think that's the name)
Special mention to the superninjas. Game is a mess but that's what I like about it.
Leo & Leah. Blatantly uses Chrono Trigger and Mana graphics but game itself is pretty unique. It's also interesting how the main characters are lions[/spoilers].
The Millennium series
Kappa
What happened to the RPGmaker horror game fad? I honestly dearly miss it, it's a damn shame.
Yume Nikki is such a hard game to recommend to friends. It's hard to make it sound interesting I'm surprised I got into it when my friend described it to me at school years ago. I guess it's just something you need to try out yourself.
tfw I actually know nothing about it
