Going to commit to getting every Shine Spite for once for a fresh comparison to Hat in Time. Not looking forward to the first half an hour but I forget enough of it that it should be fun.
Isle Delfino is the greatest hub world ever in my opinion.

>the absolute state of non-nintenbros
I was going to say 64's hub world was better but on second thought there's something I really like about Delfino.
It's the same for me. I want to say 64 at first thought because it memorable but Isle Delfino is just so open and colorful. Peaches Castle is move closed in.
It's a shame how few worlds there are, I love the ones that are included but I can't help but wonder what the game would be like if there were as many as sm64.
emulating galaxy 2 at 4k because it's better than buying a piece of shit Switch
Some random backlog shit from bundles and hat in time workshop levels
Why not just get a Switch to play Odyssey?
That was what disappointed me as a kid.
Personally I'd rather have more smaller levels than fewer bigger ones. If you didn't like a level in 64 you could skip it. Don't like a level or 2 for whatever reason in Sunshine, Hat in Time or Yooka-Laylee and that's a big chuck of the game.
Because I wait till consoles are reasonably priced for the amount of games they actually have worth playing? Like most people??
basically this. so much id rather spend almost $400 on than gimmicky trash hardware and a mario game. it's sad bc odyssey looks great.
Switch has GameCube controller compatibility just wait for the gc vc bro :’)
>Why not just get a Switch
Why not get banned you faggot shill?
switch is just so trash. i would feel stupid spending that much money on a shitty console for 2 games. i can justify spending a bunch of money on a pc since i actually use it for more than games. as fun as odyssey looks there's plenty of games i havent touched yet on pc.
I'll probably get one when version 2 of the hardware is released, I know what the online entails and library is a bit bigger.
Nah, they still got a few "HD" rereleases to slap together before then.
Okay. That's understandable.
Autism. Not surprising.
So basically you’re poor?
It’s the only explanation. Anyone who would spend more than two minutes debating whether or not to spend $500 on a console clearly has little to no disposable income.
It truly is pathetic.
I tried replaying the Galaxy games in Dolphin literally 4+ times now but I get so fucking bored after the first couple stages. I could stand them when I played them on the Wii as a teenager but as I've gotten older, the forward+jump linear platforming shit just bores me to tears. I need to replay sunshine and 64 soon.
I wish Sunshine was as fleshed out as E3 and unused data shows
>Train system
>Human villagers
>Few extra levels
>Few unused enemies
Feels rushed with the blue coins. Hell, shine sprites don't even matter. The requirement for beating the game is just beating episode 7 in each world
Not him but I'm not paying $575 for one game, no matter what that game is. On principle I would not let myself get scammed like that.
no but i dont want to spend money on such terrible, tacky design for the umpteenth installment of bing bing wahoo
>Going to commit to getting every Shine Spite for once for a fresh comparison to Hat in Time.
Tell us how that goes. I'm kind of interested on any constructive criticism points you may have.
That's an very underrated bad aspect of the game. You don't figure it out until your a ways in but really it's just "beat" the 7 levels to win. Any Sprite you pickup in Defino really serves to purpose other than to help you unlock levels faster but they're already gotten pretty quick.
Are you guys retarded third worlders? A Switch+Odyssey is 360 in normal dollars
I can already see myself getting pissed running out of lives and having to get to that boat secret level again from the beginning despite thinking Hat in Time might have been better with lives so there's an actual downside to dying repeatedly.
Canada. 499 for the bundle +15% tax.
That's just not worth it as someone who has already played Zelda and MK8. I can get the above plus half a dozen first party games for it in a few years for half of that.
all lives do is occasionally put you back into the start screen, they were nothing but an inconvenience
Who the fuck pays that much for a Switch? The Odyssey bundle herer is 330 euros. Which is like 380 dollars or something. Wtf?
>Who the fuck pays that much for a Switch?
The retarded drone you're replying to apparently?
>Anyone who would spend more than two minutes debating whether or not to spend $500 on a console clearly has little to no disposable income
wanna know how i know you are poor irl ?
because you dont have the concept of value nailed down yett.
I want to replay sunshine via dolphin, but I heard some ISO's that go around are extra buggy or something. Anybody know anything about that?
This has never bothered me, because the levels in sunshine are way more replayable and are much more fun to fuck around in.
64's levels are mostly designed around specific areas of interest and linear paths around the maps, and visually are more or less generic video game levels; wheras sunshine's are more true platforming sandboxes where you can move around the map and have platforming options in any direction and there's way more decoratives, geometry, and actual textures to make the locations feel like real places and have actual detail density.
this isn't neoGAF faggot
Trump needs to send all you faggots back to Mexico where you'll pay for the wall
