I honestly don't know. Every series has some iteration where the mechanics are too different from what I've enjoyed previously.

I really can't think of a series where I've enjoyed every game.

Maybe Matsuno's Ivalice games? I dunno.

Probably Ace Attorney. I don't like the new ones very much, but the original trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart.

When talking about main series games only, I feel Pokemon is one of the few franchises that has remained good through it's life time with no major dips in quality or bumps that change what the series was at its core.

Completely true. I don't know what possessed me to finish watching all 12 horrendous episodes. The first 3 held promise at least.
Really? I was under the impression people generally thought it was a mediocre show, though admittedly 2 seasons might solve the writing issues it had. I will say that the action scenes were at least pretty good, they redeemed the show somewhat.

I feel like this is the only answer. Like, literally every other series made some design misstep at one point or another.
