Have you done your homework today, slacker?
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Thread
I'm using Elements Unite! with Aegis of Gaia and Acidic Downpour to half-ass my way through this event. I probably won't get past 2,000,000 points but oh well. I'm more concerned with getting Crowler to drop Ancient Gear Knights
Anyone watching the Yu-Gi-Oh marathon on Twitch?
What do they even teach in Duel Academy?
Yeah but I can't figure out a good farming deck. All the Destiny Draws I've seen are bricky as fuck, and I don't have Labyrinth Builder to try the others.
Honestly, you don't need a farming deck. He drops the rare cards often. I've been using Toon Barrel dragon and waiting till I draw my last card to finish him off.
I have had success with a Cerberus deck. You just need to make sure you have a way of dealing with Zero Gravity. I've found that 2 unicorn horns and yami helps to boost defense enough to counter it. I get about 6000-8000 every time and it's easy to make without paying money.
Obviously they teach you everything you need to earn a PHD in Dueling.
Anybody know what card packs are worth investing in and why? I am sitting on a ton of gems.
ayo why is my teacher a drag queen
I did manage to farm with Cerberus a couple of times but yeah, Zero Gravity fucked me hard. I'll try your method.
Claiming seto as my husbando
don't invest too much on the first box (there's only a few cards that are worth anything there). I spent like 5k to notice that it suffered from a case of "powercreep". now I have an outdated deck in the current meta
t. newbie
>tfw the only good cards in Ultimate Rising are Sphere Kuriboh and maybe Order to Charge
Mirror Wall hasn't been necessary in a long time and Wall of Disruption is better in almost every situation
Pick one deck that you want to use and buy packs for that.
Coming up on a year lads.
>not running 3 MW's and WoD's
fucking gemlets never learn
Thank you for the tips. I might invest in Echoes of Silence. Is that box any good?
any rewards for logging on for a year?
>Twitch
>Not having all the GX seasons and watching them offline
>Literally cucking yourself by watching them on the cuck site that is Switch
Hang yourself
>Is that box any good?
>not looking up a deck that interests you
>not looking up how you get the cards that interest you
>blindly buying boxes that might not even have something you'll ever need or want
Do some research yourself, faggot.
I misspelled Twitch, well shit, welp
Login for a year and get 1 free pack.
I think 1 year anniversary is coming up though within 2 weeks so there might be a bunch of free shit. Global release though was Dec/Jan though I forgot when.
twitch chat is fun though

link?
It's trash. They play ads every 3-5 minutes and they only play a certain number of episodes per day, then play em on repeat.
>Want to make an ancient gear deck
>most of the cards are shit aside from Golem, Beast, and Knight
>can't even get a second Golem until you hit level 35 with Crowler
Nevermind, I guess.
>>most of the cards are shit aside from Golem, Beast, and Knight
That's all you need, or are you one of those tards that thinks you need to use every card belonging to an archetype?
Somewhere on /vg/
It just seems kind of boring to run like 6 cards of one type and then the rest is just generic machine support.
thats literally all you need. Golem, Knight and Beast steamroll most decks alone.
rate my deck
use jade knight instead of peacekeeper, it can search everything.
GIVE ME MACHINE DECKS!!!
kill yourself
It just seems less like an Ancient Gear deck and more of a Generic Machine deck, Guest Starring some Ancient Gears, I guess.
>Create old decks I used to own
>Rapidly climb through ranks
????
Are people pretending to be shit at this game?
Why do you keep the count at 20 when you can have a better strategy with more cards?
All I've seen are idiots trying to rush a game by filling their decks with only one combo.
Really, very sad this thing, at least I get to have fun, oh well.
Ended up making a Buster Blader fusion deck and that's been pretty fun when it doesn't brick
Any suggestions on what to add/switch out would be appreciated.
Thought about getting Weevil to 40 to get DNA Surgery to abuse Dragon Destroyer's effect, but that seems like a lot of grinding
This is the only reason I remembered about my homework due in 50 minutes
Thanks OP+
Is change of heart in this game?
I'd look for a way to quickly summon high level monsters, redundancy is best, too.
i would if 20 wasn't the lowest limit.
i still say this game would benefit more from forcing to have atleast 30 cards and a five card hand.
So the only way to play this game is on mobile? That's pretty annoying for anyone that has an outdated phone.
It's getting a Steam version soon, I think.
What protects me against low count cards is that I have more than one backup plan against high level monsters and annoying traps, I often play LV monsters so I don't need to sacrifice anything, plus, they often level up by themselves, only by having them around, that way I can focus my strategy on magic and trap cards while my monsters keep enemy ones in check.
What I found the most interesting and hilarious thing is that I can force some people to run out of cards, since most of them run 20 card decks :^).
Hopefully, I'd rather not have to install some garbage like bluestacks just to play it since my phone is from 2009.
Oh damn, this is going to be quite fun, I expect many yugioh threads on Sup Forums if it gets released on PC.
dood there are 100$ phones that can play games
It's more of a matter of I don't want to replace something when I have an older version that still works fine.
I also don't buy stuff that isn't top priority but having useful apps is cool. Water drink reminder and the one that gave me fitness routines helped me lose 20lbs
Just download Nox if you want to start up then move over to the steam version when it comes out.
>start with 4 cards
>max deck size is 30
what did they mean by this?
Crippled by portability, that's what they meant.
Do you the lvl insects with silent magician?People always kill off mine before they can level up so i just use card draws beaters, and spells/traps with my magicians.
>Crippled
poor word choice, but I get what you're saying
You need to guard them with trap cards or force them to level up in the same turn with the card "Level up".
If you don't have that card, then use the effect of a card (any) to make your opponent draw cards from their deck as soon as you summon your silent magician, also, use power of dark to give it 200 more atk points, so it reaches 1700 atk as soon as your opponent draws the next card.
What would you choose to use?
Oh I didn't read the rest of your post, but yeah, that's what you gotta do, sometimes I even get silent magician lv 4 and level up within the first turn, but only sometimes since I don't run repeated cards.
>What would you choose to use?
Something with a less negative connotation. It's meant to be a game that can be played in very small spurts OR long sessions. That's not a bad thing.
