I truly believe Ulfric Stormcloak really did nothing wrong.
-Yes, he shouted the high king to death, and many people see this as immoral. But the real question is: why was a teenage boy, Toryyg, the High King of Skyrim? Such a person is not fit to rule, and this is something Ulfric was trying to communicate. A boy that young, leading Skyrim? Absolutely absurd and he was just an Imperial puppet anyway, -Yes, the Thalmor liked the fact that Ulfric was causing trouble and waging war. But they still didn't want him to win. Ulfric Stormcloak would actually be far more aggressive against the Thalmor than the Empire. -Ulfric truly cares about Skyrim and its people. Rikke said "Skyrim doesn't belong to you", to which Ulfric replies "No, but I belong to her.." Ulfric is truly dedicated to Skyrim. -The Stormcloack Jarls tend to be far more noble -Ulfric was dedicated enough to learn how to shout, he is a true Nord and this possible untapped power could prove invaluable against the Thalmor -While the Empire is busy cozying up to the Thalmor, and promising they'll wage war against them "eventually", Ulfric is steadfast and dedicated against the elves

Reminder that siding with Ulfric is the same as siding with afro bitch in Wolfenstein 2, they even make the same arguments
Nolan Roberts
I've come across stormcloak vs thalmor battles out there and they get their asses kicked every time. They can't hold the country without the dragonborn.
Nathaniel Campbell
>Ulfric Stormcloak would actually be far more aggressive against the Thalmor Who cares? Skyrim is a literal backwater shithole inhabited by inbred bandits, Skyrim is literally nothing to the Thalmor
Anthony Lewis
The Thalmor wanted the Stormcloaks to fight the Empire to make them weaker. If the journal you find in the Thalmor base it's heavily implied that the Thalmor would have found a way to release Ulfric before Alduin shows up. Empowering Ulfric is giving them exactly what they want
Wyatt Rodriguez
Big nords make good troops for the empire. Last thing the thalmor wants is a united human front.
Jaxon Lee
So basically your argument is afro bitch did nothing wrong
Jeremiah Hughes
You say about reading journals yet it's blatantly stated in the dossier that the Thalmor want the war to continue on as long as possible, they do not want either side winning.
It's easy to spot people who don't know shit about TES lore, Nords are literally the master race of Man.
Jason Anderson
Reminder that Nords have no culture outside of being barbaric, drunken, boors and Skyrimbabbies perceive their drunk rambling to have some sense of honor or pride behind it.
They’re just so fucking gay and it’s exhausing that Bethesda and Bethesda Apologist shill for them so much primarily because muh viking/norse aesthetic, easily the worst race in TES.
Joseph Morales
t.Thalmor
Eli Wood
Thalmor is right, Humans ruined everything
I also take back the “easily the worst race” thing, Nords are second worse close only to Junkie Cats
Jaxon Moore
>But they still didn't want him to win. Only in the sense that they didn't want anyone to win because that would mean that the civil war was over. However, if one of the two sides had to win, they preferred a Stormcloak victory.
Adrian Scott
that said Skyrim under empire control is the worst possible outcome for the thalmor Everyone aside from Ulfric realizes there's a war between the empire and the dominion brewing, a war in which the empire will need all of it's resources available, including it's nord retinues.
While you could argue that should the empire take the war to the thalmor ulfric would be more than happy to lend his assistance, it still would introduce unnecessary complications in the planning and execution.

>Everyone aside from Ulfric realizes there's a war between the empire and the dominion brewing
That's a stretch, Ulfric and the Stormcloaks want to take the fight directly to the Thalmor either way. At the point of Skyrim it's a matter of principle that half of Skyrim wants out of the Mede Empire.
Nicholas Brooks
A dumber half (not even a half, most of skyrim doesn't want the civil war and don't participate), most of the stormcloak jarls are completely incompetent (some of the imperial ones are bad as well but on average they are much better), and all of the lines from stormcloak soldiers are absolutely stupid, at least the imperials fight for the greater good, all the stormcloaks care about is being a true son of skyrim without any thought put into it.
Jace Murphy
All humans (or sapients in fantasy settings) have culture. That's a fact.
Zachary Edwards
He didn't say that they had no culture, just that they don't have one outside of barbaric, drunken boors.
Jason Sullivan
>the entire empire loses to the dominion >ulfric wants to break off a single province and go to war with the dominion >somehow this is considered a positive
Aiden Edwards
Not only that but he thinks fighting the dominions biggest enemy is a good thing.
Henry Reed
>most of the Stormcloak Jarls are incompotnent
>The Markarth Jarl comes down harder on Foresworn and does not let Thalmor into his keep like the Imperial Jarl >Falkreath Jarl is leagues above the shitty Imperial Jarl who deals with bandits and empties the Holds coffers for stupid things >Riften Jarl is good intentioned, just naive >Whiterun Jarl isn't even bad, people just hate him because he's not Balgruff >Dawnstar Jarl is just a shitty person but nowhere near as bad as the Imperial Falkreath Jarl
>not even half The Stormcloaks have the support of more Holds than the Empire does. Morthal and Whiterun are neutral (until Balgruff sides with the Empire but he is neutral until he is pushed).
The Stormcloaks also feel more fleshed out than the Imperials through their dialouge, they even state over and over and over again how they know the Thalmor are the true enemy but they need to defeat the Empire first.
My dude do you actually think the Dominion is in any shape to take over anything when they couldn't even conquer Hammerfell? Both the Empire and the Dominion are weak, it's exactly why the Dominion want to prolong the civil war as long as possible.
Luis Evans
I wish my Dovahkiin and Legate Rikke could've talked sense into him. I mean, the Mede dynasty is weak as fuck, but the muthafuckin' Dragonborn is there ready to unite everyone against the Elf Reich.
Sebastian Harris
The imperial falkreath jarl is an asshole but he isn't incompetent because he lets his steward do all of the important stuff.
Dominic Hall
Empire only surrendered because the tower got sacked and they're a bunch of pussies. Titus Mede only cared about himself. If a Septim were in charge they would have done whatever it took to win even if it fucked themselves over or changed the metaphysical structure of reality forever.
The Thalmor can't even beat the Redguards, how are they going to beat the Nords? With both Hammerfell and Skyrim ceded from the empire, High Rock/Orsinium would be cut off from Cyrodiil completely. I don't see any reason for them to stay in the empire after that.
IMO everyone will form a new empire
Owen Scott
They managed to fight and get the tower back, its strange that you think Titus Mede only cared about himself when nothing really happened to him, it was the people in Cyrodiil suffering which made him sign the concordat, and it was the right decision, if he didn't sign it than the empire would have been destroyed (this is absolute canon and stated in a loading screen).
Levi Cook
supporting the winning side is always a good option user
Kayden Green
but everywhere outside of cyrodiil was doing fine.
Sebastian Collins
Hammerfell wasn't, but it was still the right choice.
