Why haven't you pre-ordered?
Why haven't you pre-ordered?
But I have (the dual steelbook). I preordered it because I'm autistic and pokemon is one of the few things that brings me happiness.
I don't know. I didn't even finish SuMo because it all felt so railroaded and dull. I like the setting and the new Pokemon, but I'm going to wait and see if the story is as in your face and forcee as the previous two.
How have they gotten away with selling the exact same game over and over for this long?
what the fuck do you people even do with two copies of the same thing
I'm convinced that if you didn't like SM then you won't like this either.
It seems like they're doubling down on the story this time and the extra areas they have shown look like more corridors with pretty visuals.
Because pokemon is shit
I put one in for Ultra Sun hoping it would make my GameStop which is much closer do a midnight release but if they don't I'll just get my money back and buy it at Walmart that night.
>completely skipped S/M after being incredibly disappointed in X/Y and OR/AS
>kinda want back in now just to see what's going on
>feel like I won't appreciate the changes in Ultra since I never played the base versions and will just be disappointed again
Damn, I'm not sure what to do here.
>lining up for digimon at midnight
Shiny hunt, trade with self, stock up on free secondary event Pokémon + extra codes for future trades, list easily grows
Just wait for USUM. It comes out officially in like three weeks.
what's the advantage of preordering?
so uh......... literally no reason unless you have stage 11 autism
It's Pokemon, they'll have plenty of copies. Kind of want the shamestop poster but eh.
Because I can just play it for free. Early, even, if we're lucky.
If the Vita version of Hacker's Memory was getting a physical release and a midnight release, I'd go to that.
GameStop bases whether they have midnight releases for games on a store's pre-order count, for download copies you can pre-load, if you don't give a shit about having an official copy at midnight there's no reason to.
How does a second version help with shiny hunts?
>it's almost 2018 and people STILL haven't hacked their 3DS
I think I'll skip it because it really looks like the laziest "third version" Gamefreak has shat out yet.
Then again I skipped B2/W2 for the same reason and /vp/ keeps telling me they're some of the best games in the series. Are they just memeing?
>unironically vastly more excited for the new Digimon Cyber Sleuth game in January than the newest Pokemon
Child me would be shocked.
no, B2W2 are better than BW in every single way
Because Pokemon hasn't been good since gen 4. I'll be pirating it.
No they are not, you can fight every gym leader and every champion up untill that point and they all have new versions of their original themes.
If that user has two 3DS systems, means he can hunt on two systems at a time.
Shiny hunting on one is a pain in the ass already since I want to do something other than stare at the screen, paying attention to two sounds like self-caused torture.
Trading with self for version exclusives is a good reason since the niggers on GTS highball the fuck out of the value of their mons.
>They wanted the extra shekels from having two third versions
>Too lazy to justify it by making it a sequel like B2/W2
I think I'll skip. It'll make the Switch version more satisfying if I take a break from the franchise for a bit.
Apparently the devs are total new ones rather than the directors of SM, XY, or ORAS and they've said they put in more changes and stuff than platinum.
Grown out of playing pokemon. Haven't grown out of memorizing every single fucker and their types/weaknesses.
>it'll make the usual rushed beta more satisfying if I skip the game that actually has a chance at having a semblance of polish
Well, I guess you're not totally wrong.
I don't have to buy 3DS games anymore.
I don't want it but i'll end up buying it because I enjoy them too much
I ordered the steelbook edition with both.
Stop playing Pokemon
No.
