I personally have to agree, the cap jump really gives that extra freedom that makes Mario's movement so fun.
I'm at Metro Kingdom and I think this is my favourite Mario game ever.

People who complain about the game being easy and boring are probably just going through the "story" in the blandest way possible instead of actually experimenting, the fact there's so many different approaches to clear a level is fenomenal, and some are pretty hard too.
I hope they put some level DLC or make an Odyssey2.

I'd say it's better then 64 but Sunshine is still better. To many moons, zero sense of accomplishment and the levels are nowhere near as interesting to explore. 64 even had better music (not remixes) except Steam Garden, Steam Garden is pretty tight.

Easy means you don't really need to think. As much as I like being challenged, sometimes you're just in the mood to kill 3 hours, chillan, relaxin, not a care in the world. Mario fulfills that "chill" feel and is what the kids call "Cozy".

It's easy as fuck but it's a cozy game, something to kill a few hours while keeping your mind and heart smooth.
