I have VR but I have the feeling that if I played this game I'd just be standing alone in a corner and only get approached by autistic furfags looking to ERP.

You can play VRchat without actually having VR. I mean, it kinda defeats the point, but whatever.

You can play in desktop mode, but unless you have a mic, you'd just be more of a spectator

Yeah, pretty much. If your PC is relatively recent you may not even have to do that, getting good enough FPS in most VR games in my experience requires less power than a lot of AAA games on mediums settings. The specs required are largely over-exaggerated.

actually VRchat has plenty of fun stuff happening that's just like those youtube videos, it's not second life tier boring shit where people stand around forever.
