but doing a blind speedrun of a game with my friends was the most fun i've had in my life. Our Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Trial was the last time I got to scream at people for being filthy screen lookers

I like watching speed runs with commentaries where they talk about the tricks they're using, but now most speed run videos are GDQ trash. So you get bad audio from the players/commentators, annoying interruptions by the hosts reading off donation crap, and a big chunk of screen space wasted on ads and a feed of the autistic audience.
