It's fun. Your run around and shoot shit and there's a lot of variety as far as guns and powers.
It's a little light on content and the pc version won't get all the content until later on but, it's a legitimately fun game and great co op, if not a little on the easy side as far as the main story goes. Raids and strikes might be a little harder but I haven't seen any difficulty spikes yet.

It's not bad but it has a lot of stupid design decisions like no all chat and no in game clan chat but all in all its not bad.

However I can't really recommend it if you played destiny 1 because if you did this will just feel like a level pack for it

So long as you only have 2 friends. There's a party size of 3 people for some missions.

If somebody could mod Destiny 2 to remove all enemies and make it a walking simulator I would pay 60$ for it

3 classes so they probably didn't want you to double up. Yeah Bungie is both brilliant and retarded with aspects of Destiny.

it's a pretty great game, lacking an endgame for now though, but as with destiny 1, now after the release the "live" team is working on destiny 2. they did a great job with destiny 1 post release, and im sure they'll do it again with destiny 2. that being said, wait unil the first dlc unless you're really craving to play it.

Play Warframe instead, fun as fuck and with less malicious business practices

I really like Destiny. There is no doubt that it is a better game than Warframe, and that what's there is really fun but it has like no content atm. The raid comes out next week, and hopefully they'll announce some new free content soon because there's not much to do once you get near the cap.

Yes. There's a myriad of problems with the endgame at the moment, but you'll get a good initial 30-50 hours out of it at least (even better since you got friends).

I got to 265 in like 4 days of just public events

I haven't done nightfall yet but I heard you need to start doing weekly stuff at like 285ish - then from there you cap out at 305

So... 4 days then it's the gate wait.

also you can kinda game the system (not really) by always equipping the highest level gear you get, because the gear you find is directly dependant on the level of the weapons you're wearing

so if you have a 300 weapon and you send it to an alt, that alt will start finding 300 gear from drops even if his avg is 150 or w/e

so always wear the highest lvl weapon you find

But yeah the endgame content is definitely lacking, so you really shouldn't play it like a korean MMO, but just play it like a shooter. Its actually pretty fun in pvp too

Content light, mega casual but visually appealing and fun with friends with albiet a short but enjoyable gear progression. Don't go in looking for your traditional mmo grind.

What? Everyone has a melee and grenade and an ult. There's no role in the group, everyone's just dps. There are no unique feeling guns apart from the preorder ice laser.

I disagree. And class roles are not as defined as most MMO classes, but they do exist.

Really, what's the difference between the auto rifle you get at the start of the game and an end game one? Fast reload or some shit but that's all.

It's good with friends. It's a shooter and nothing else. People who play 24/7 say it's too thin but if you play in normal manner I'm sure it's way better than Wolfenstein 2. It's a corridor shooter which has really great graphical and aural design and gameplay is top notch. However it could have lot more content on launch. Activision is jewing with DLCs too much.

It's fun with friends. Might actually be more fun if you've never played the first one. Depends on the number of friends you have tho. PvE is for up to 3 people with the exception of the raid which is for 6 people. PvP is all 4v4.

Me and my friends kind of got burned out on D2 and while we did play a fuckload of D1 I'm still surprised how fast it happened.

They really should have found a way to incorporate the D1 content.
