No user. It isn't. Metal Slug 6 is the worst game in the series and I'm even counting XX into that.
There's MAJOR slowdown on all games, frame drops. You're better off emulating 1, 2, X and 3. 4 is where they start getting horrible and 3 is the best one.

No. If possible, buy any other version of that game, even the Wii version. I dunno what they did, but the PSN ports of Anthology have worse controls and more framerate drops. As someone that's played almost every version of these games, the most I can say is that the PSN ports "feel" worse to play than most.

I've been seeing this meme criticism all over Sup Forums lately, but I still don't know what the fuck this actually entails. Substance in gameplay? Story? Level design? And what's considered substance over style than? Does a game need to be ultra complex with 100 different skill trees and builds to go through in order to have substance. It honestly sounds like something a highschooler would say to sound smart during a debate.
