I meant .. its not like you will get like a 20 higher rift on necro compared with the other classes but yeah its the most powerful class atm.

Its also a fairly different gameplay than the other classes and if you want to play in party its also used on most of the "meta" comps atm.

If you like D3 then its worth. Class was pretty broken last time I played it (release) but I believe there's been a season started since so they might've tweaked some stuff. Regardless most classes can kill shit pretty effectively in d3.

Dunno about you guys, but I got disappointed in skelly army in D2 around halfway through Act 2. Since then I only had a golem and used bone spear/spirit and corpse explosion.

Solo necro is pretty painful because you never really get the essentials like enigma. Act 2 is notoriously bad for summoning necros because of places like maggot lair which is narrow tunnels all the way through with only 1 or 2 skeletons hitting at one time. Also poison and aoe lightning kill your low level summons really easily. A hell summoning necro can pretty much roll over the entire game, but with the amount of gear you put into it you could do the same with any class.

It's not too expensive to get (even if it's a bit too expensive for just a single new class), but I'm afraid it might be yet another one of Blizzard's jewish tricks. What if the next expansion pack includes Necro as baseline hero? It's not like they're gonna make a discount if you bought Necro before.
