So we have giant open world Zelda and Mario now. What's another Nintendo property suited to this?

Pokemon
Is Metroid Prime 4 also going to be fucking massive? Games are so fucking time-consuming.
Animal Crossing
This.
Having a giant world where we can challenge different trainers, look in obscure spots for rare Pokemon or even do sidequests would really move the series forward.
...
...
Come here for this.
...
But this is gamefreak we're talking about. Its just gonna be a standard mainline pokemon game with slightly updated graphics.
If you have no time for real games just stuck to gachashit, it's literally made with people like you in mind.
Never fucking reply to me again unless you're contributing to the thread.
Odyssey isn't really open world.
Take the random player characters from xenoblade x and use it in an open world pokemon game. Every few hours have new trainers you can challenge that don't actively approach you since having to reclear the same area a million times is gonna go stale
Says the one blogposting.
GIVE ME A GERUDO GF RIGHT NOW!
F-Zero
>pokemon with amiibos
Nintendo literally has a license to print money yet they opt not to use it. Truly the heroes of gaming we need, but not the one we deserve.
GF should consider asking help to others (Monolith Soft?) instead of just sticking to the bunch of hacks of their team all the time.
>Thank you based company for not screwing me more than you already have
Name one other company in the same position to make even more money by milking their customer and doesn't chose to.
Amiibos are a healthy kind of kikery, they massively contribute to the company by exploiting retards without affecting people who don't want to waste their money on them.
Is this the mini giantess thread
>they massively contribute to the company by exploiting retards without affecting people who don't want to waste their money on them.
So, like cosmetic loot boxes?
If you think about it, Mario possessing things is not different to Kirby copying abilities.
What would happen if Kirby were to swallow Cappy?
Loot boxes affect the gameplay design on a very basic level. They introduce grind and then attempt to sell you a "solution" to grind, rather than just not having grind in the first [place.
Kirby sitting on your head posessing you? Like a headcrab?
>Manly tears has relation ship issues
Bingo, but at least there tangible objects.
>tfw Kirby will never sit on your face
that's sad the grudeo are just culture of single sad lonley women why don't they have men from other areas into there kingdom maybe they will start getting lighter skinned
F-Zero. Go full GTA.
Is this what you want?
Starfox & F-Zero
Pokemon is absolutely the best candidate for this, but Game Freak already said they don't want to do it because they're losers and hate adventure. They should give this damn series to somebody else.
they ruined gerudo in BoTW
In OoT they had some mystery and strange ways. They had a fortress and a training ground full of monsters. In BoTW they are neutered basically have no culture. They turned Gerudos into Americans.
FUCKING POKEMON
WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A 3D OPEN WORLD FUCKING POKEMON FUCKING GAME.
Odyssey it's a sanbox game, not open world.
Metroid. Give Samus the space to let her power ball and sprint really tear shit up. Still have plenty of caverns and abandoned science factories to explore, of course.

>Implying I'm not just gonna fly my Gunship around everywhere
Pokemon Puzzle League
wtf is going on with your quotes?
>Metroid
Please, no. Those games are great because they have concise well designed worlds. Open world shit takes that away because they have to be so damn massive and filled with shit that's designed for anyone to access at any point in the game.
People said the same thing about Mario and Zelda. People were saying the same thing when 3D Metroid was going FPS. It can be done well.
your mom ass
Kirby
imagining:
>fairly large open world
>villagers tend to live grouped together, some will spawn in secluded areas
>can help build houses
>go find a cave to mine fossils in
>explore forests
>spend almost 20 minutes on a trek to someone's isolated forest cottage to deliver something to them (or spend bells to take the train and find a nearby station)
>"Buddy System" will allow you to bring a villager with you on your adventures
Oh my god I need this right fucking now.
First time i saw this picture in 2009 i laughed so much that i couldn't breath it was 3 am and my dad ran into my room and beat the shit out of me
Nah, I am with him there. The style of level design is a huge part of what makes Metroid Metroid. It would not work in open world, because being open is the opposite of Metroid. Metroid is segmented.
>First time i saw this picture in 2009 i laughed so much that i couldn't breath it was 3 am and my dad ran into my room and beat the shit out of me
I'm laughing but I also feel very sorry for you
my dad was like that too
Animal Crossing would work great with a bigger world
god dammit nintendo, get on this
>being in first person is the opposite of Metroid
>Metroid is a 2D platformer
