Please understand Square-Enix is a small company and doesn't have the manpower to work on such projects and must outsource them.
It was outsourced to some chink company.
Probably up there with SH HD when it comes to remasters that ruin the look of old games.
I remember there's a lot of effects that are just missing from the PS3/4 releases that take away the atmosphere
The saddest part are all the lost facial expressions.
Whatever. FFX's story is a cheap version of Grandia II.
>she's not squinting! GAME = RUINED
Grandia II sucks balls though.
I remember playing it and it was pretty much unsufferable.
Please don't summon the FFX HD port faggot that posts the same 3 webms over and over and over again
What did you dislike about it? They ended copying a lot of the Grandia battle system for X-2 and it had one of the most fun in the whole series. Then XIII had a very watered down version of the Grandia III battle system.
It's been a real long time since I finished Grandia II but I remember the characterization of the various team members not being that great, especially the main protagonist and the heroine.
Her deviless/alter-ego was cute though, but that's pretty much all I remember. Ah and the final boss being the Pope, talk about cliche'd.
It was just average. FFX handled the themes and story a lot better.
FFX literally has the same concept. It blows my mind that you could think Tidus is a better character than Ryudo, or Yuna is any less of a mary sue than Elena.
Nice strawmanning.
What webms?
Needs more manjaw
Grandia 2 felt tragic and FFX felt forlorn.
Well all you said that you don't like the team and FFX did the story better
These songs capture what I mean

How the fuck is Yuna a Mary Sue?
She's fragile and isn't over-idealized at all, do you retards even know what your meme terms mean?
Is there a consensus that the remasters are botched , Sup Forums?
Wasn't Tales of Symphonia also very similar to FFX in plot? Or was it a third JRPG of the time? I don't remember it being Grandia II but then I never played Grandia II so I am sure it could be another.
Besides the changes in the designs, one of the releases had a RNG glitch.
Which version of FFX HD should I buy, ps3 or ps4?
Bump.
none, they all have the same shitty outsourced models
play the PS2 version
feminism
>huge lips for sucking ps2 version
>pristine tiny lips for ps4
As I said having the same concept means little if one does the job well enough and the other doesn't. FFX really hammers the concept of "self-sacrifice for the greater good" while it wasn't that clear with Grandia II.
Also I never said that Tidus is a better character than Ryudo, just that the latter sucked. Two protagonists can suck at the same time.
Also I never said anything about mary sue, I said that Elena was less convincing than Yuna.
PC of course you retard.
She is idealized, but that isn't even what Mary Sue means, there's a lot of debate over what the trope means. She's just an over cliche character.
PS4>PS3
However, the PS2 version is the best version.
Because autists buy the fuck out of it.
Mary Sue doesn't mean and never meant "over cliche", you're retarded.
Holy shit taste.
Is there any source that lists these problems and bugs in a convenient organizational structure so one can decide what ver is the best to play?
Settle down, Beavis. I mean overall cliche.
Calm down and define what a Mary Sue is, user.
How was Yuna over-cliche?
I hardly remember many
>"nun going to kill herself to save her people discovers her faith is a lie and says fuck it all I'll go my way then"
characters in anime or games.
yo grandia bro, this series has always intrigued me. should i start with 1?
You should try to learn and define it because you clearly don't know what Mary Sue means.
There's no debate over what "mary-sue" means, user. You're just stupid.
do you even know the legal rights to emulation
i'm getting tired of people saying any and all emulation is illegal when there are stringent rules to follow. Stop being a dummy.
