>Epic Star Cards, the highest tier of Star Cards available at launch, have been removed from Crates. To help keep everyone on a level playing field, these Star Cards will primarily be available through crafting, with the exception of special Epic Star Cards available through pre-order, deluxe, and starter packs.
>You'll need to reach a certain rank to craft upgraded Star Cards. You won't be able to buy a bunch of Crates, grind everything up into crafting materials, and immediately use them to get super powerful Star Cards.
>Weapons are locked behind specific milestones. While a select few will be found in Crates, the rest can only be attained by play.
>Class-specific gear and items can be unlocked by playing as them.

Ok Sup Forums, EA listened to your criticisms during the beta and fixed everything. You're going to buy Star Wars Battlefront II now, right?

...

...

"no"

Battlefront 1 sold 15 million copies. Your friends, family, coworkers, all bought it. Surely you want to play the sequel with them, right?

They actually didnt
I have no idea where that number came from, literally nobody talked about that game after the beta

>EA was never intending to follow through with pure P2W lootboxes anyway
>too overt even for them
>pretend to backpeddle and "listen" to fans to generate a false appearance of them caring

not falling for it EA

>blatant p2w lootboxes
we shall change for you
>p2w lootboxes

well they tried, but scooping half the shit off the plate still leaves you with half the shit left.

battlefront 1 (2015) was a massive incomplete pile of shit with barely any content at all

everybody bought it anyway because of the name star wars. product name > everything

listening would be removing them, they won't back down.

it sold 30 million early-access copies unironically. Fans will buy anything as usual

>special epic star cards
>only available through pre-order etc

soooo... pre-order to win?

STBF1 sold 14 million copies by March 2016 (it released in November of 2015) with some more sales trickling in afterwards.

Bet you feel silly right now :P

>>You'll need to reach a certain rank to craft upgraded Star Cards. You won't be able to buy a bunch of Crates, grind everything up into crafting materials, and immediately use them to get super powerful Star Cards.
so you need to grind a rank, and THEN buy a bunch of grates, grind everything into crafting materials, and then use them to get super powerful star cards

that's clearly totally different
brave
now only people invested in the game will spend dozens of thousands

Ok lads, let me play the devil's advocate:

>you release Titanfall 2 with no lootboxes, a full single player campaign (which the first one didn't have), and multiplayer for $60 with no bullshit DLC or expansions
>it barely sells
>you release a shitty Star Wars game with lootboxes that sells like hotcakes (I'm betting BF2's pre-orders are bigger than Titanfall's total sales) and whales buy up the lootboxes basically giving you free money

If you're an executive at EA, what the fuck do you expect them to do?

this isn't really different from nolives grinding their asses off while everyone only has 8 hours on gameplay while they have 80 hours.

post active player count from release to current date pls

20k today. More than your favorite game, buddy.

why does that matter, they already won

>over all platforms

I bought it for 5 dollars with all DLC (which you couldn't play anyway because they are in separate playlists for some god forsaken reason) and every single game had at least 1 blatant hacker with no repurcussions. the game is trash

I didn't even know Titanfall 2 had come out until months after release. They fucked up on the marketing.

...

You are free to suck the jEAw's MP cock as long as you wish, user.
I will refrain from giving pleasure to those filthy corporate rats.

>Battlefront 1 sold 15 million copies
Yeah and it was a ghost town less than half a year after it released. Clearly no one gave enough of a shit about the product they were sold to stick with it, what reason would they have to trust a publisher on a sequel? Even if BF2 sells millions, I guarantee it won't be as high as the first, and I guarantee the next one will see millions less, and either that or the 4th will be the last one before they axe the series again.

Will a 1060 6GB be abl÷ to run this game?

It’s all on consoles desu senpai. I got it on xbone and I can find a full match in less than 10 seconds in the evening

How did my e turn to ÷

>Crates are still in the game
>We've listened
And im sure you would have done the same if everyone didn't bitch about it EA.
Thanks for killing Visceral btw :)
