I dream and hope for a sequel every day. I wish there were more pirate games that had this great amount of charm this game had in them. The game would've sold better if it came out after pirates of the caribbean.

This game should've gotten a sequel or at least or remake by now.

I highly recommend it. It's easy to get into it if your use to playing 6th gen games. I recommend the xbox version over the ps2 version but ps2 is a decent version and is playable on pcsx2.

probably not many, the PS2-to-PS4 section is hardly advertised and you have to go through like 3 different sections to get to it

Not the other user, but I'm pretty sure the Big Willy Unleashed one was supposed to take place between 2 and 3. 3 was the one I think on PS3, Path of the Furon I believe.

path of the furon was pretty meh. not nearly as shit as big willy unleashed for sure, but it doesn't have as much charm as the first 2 games. also feels super rushed.

I was so bummed playing Path of the Furon, what a terrible train wreck that was. The Wii game wound up being a better third game, which technically it was.

Playing this game right now, and it doesn't really hold up

The game is so easy to break if you know what you are doing, just go Necromancer and put points into Iron Will and Clarity and you have literally infinite mana.

The game becomes 'hold O to win' as you explore corridor after corridor after corridor. The fact that literally no creatures drop interesting loot and the best equipment is stuff you can just craft is really messing up my enjoyment on this current playthrough.

Titan Quest holds up a lot better, even if I adore the atmosphere of Dark Alliance 2.

I thought i was the only one. Only thing that came close to scratching that itch was warcraft 3 mods.

I liked AW for a bunch of reasons. No luck, no grinding, great UI, good characters, interesting and varied mission. Often you'll get to pick your CO and deploy your own troops, so there's a lot of options for playstyle.

I played this in an era were the only similar games were FFTA (grind a million meaningless missions with your OP ninja squad) and Fire Emblem (oops you let a unit die I guess you need to start over).

There were shooting sections and vehicle sections I think. There were even horse riding sections and you could get vampiric upgrades and feed on people.

The idea was to turn this into a full franchise. The DARKWATCH being an ancient order of people who protect the world from supernatural shit.

From the Wild West, to Ancient Rome, To WW2. There's even supposedly a movie still in the works but that will never happen, too.

I remember that early on they give you a massive mace, and you're expected to swap it out eventually for guns. I held onto that shit as my backup for the rest of the game.

Personally my favorite game in the series, but mostly because I like waifus and human enemies.

Another Tenchu game would be amazing. I can only get so much of my fix playing the Thief and Hitman games.

How the hell do get good at the first game? I keep dying so fast by the more bigger enemies underground. Is the second game easier.
