Bilstein alt for Sigma when?
Is Arthur a good character?
Better than he was in 3
Maybe because, thanks to it, there'll never be another one.
Can someone tell me what's wrong with the gameplay? Leave out all the bullshit they did with content amounts and judaism. I want a proper answer on why the gameplay is good or bad.
There are certain things with gameplay that are retarded. The tagging system in this one is straight out retarded. Especially when you can switch out while being comboed which is retarded. They somehow made tagging out worse that before. Plus the fact that it gives you sucha huge window for OTGs. You can slam them down, take a shit and then do your otg if you want. The bad parts really outweigh the good parts of the gameplay. Not as good as 3, if X Factor was never in 3 it would have been second best next to part 2.
Does it cost meter to defensively tag mid combo?
Not sure, haven't paid attention to that but I think it seems likely that it does.
That's pretty reasonable depending on the speed of meter gain. I did notice the OTG time was excessively long. The gem system seems to come with its own set of problems. I do however like the 2v2 instead. I'm trying to decide between getting this now or waiting for DBFZ
How are the dlc characters
they should add tagging a cooldown so players cant abuse it on every situation
better with Mods
Sigma made me pick up the game.
Despite his VA being new, he fucking killed it compared to the phoned in garbage the rest of the cast has
sigma is top tier, monhun girl requires skill to muster damage and sadly leather man is bad character all around
I own Infinite (via trade-ins, not paying money for something like this) and while I've enjoyed lab time and playing with friends it absolutely isn't. Ultimate 3 is far and away the best on average, although there are some gameplay aspects in Infinite that are handled better than 3 (only some).
Costs 2 meters to do (the maximum is 4 in this game so it's a lot), and since you only switch in the opponent can continue their combo for a bit; sometimes you can fuck up your timing can have both your characters in the combo too.
Agreed. Sigma is one of the most enjoyable characters I've played in an MvC game, period, and his new voice is perfect. I legitimately love using Sigma/Nemesis; I can get over 7k from basically any pickup anywhere due to insane hitconfirms and corner carry, so long as I hit 2 bars before I need to do supers.
ARC DIVIDE
HAHAHA
NOT DONE YET
REFLECT MAGNUM
DOOMBUSTER
WHAT'S WRONG?
NO ESCAPE
I'LL END YOUR LIFE
HAHAHA
DISAPPEAR!
If only Capcom was good maybe he could be the voice of Sigma in a new MMX game or something.
It's amazing what good voice acting do to make a character stand out so much compared to shit like Gamora, Tony, Chris, and basically everybody else. They got their VA's back and they're known to be pretty good but MVCI was rushed so fucking quick that it seems like they did one-takes or something. Hunter and Panther don't sound all that great either but Sigma's VA either spent the time preparing or just nailed that shit on his first few takes.
Yeah, the few examples of good voicing in the game stand out like gold bars in shit. Some sort of coincidence that the Story's main villains are the most competently-voiced (Ultron, Sigma, Jedah, Thanos).
Seriously though, when Reuben can't make Dante's lines sound good and you have fucking PHIL LAMAR giving an underwhelming performance, you've fucked up big time.
I still can't fucking believe Ashly Burch voiced Chun-Li
>Ashley Burch
You're fucking with me right?
Check the credits
>Carol voiced by Grey DeLisle
>Turns in a good performance, one of the more solid ones in the game
>Still disappointed because we've already had Jennifer Hale as Carol in the past and it was perfect; with Phoenix cut from 3 there would've been no issues about two characters having the same voice
I wish
>actually like how it plays and love Sigma/Jedah
>Everything else blows dick so barely anyone is playing it
>Couldn't find a match at all on PS4 the other night
I can't blame them really.
Sigma and Ultron's cutscene dialogue was unironically the best and most memorable part of the story mode that wasn't memorable for a bad line delivery or an awkward hands out pose they keep fucking doing. Helps that the two have the best voice acting.
I expected this. I only got the game to lab in it and bust out with friends on occasion until DBFZ comes out. I knew the online would be dead but that's not my main attraction when I get a fighting game. To me it's just saving money on not having PS+ (although I might cave to play FighterZ online).
Good taste though. I was running Jedah/Nemesis until Sigma dropped, and I had to keep Nemesis since I just love using him.
I like the game but I wish the pc version had more resolution options, it lags like crazy sometimes.
its better than 3 in the gameplay department but he bad pr doomed it.Lets hope the competitive scene save it.
>Watching playthrough of Story
>"You hurt me...you hurt us."
>Actually taken aback by how well-delivered that whole scene was on Ultron-Sigma's part, compared to the mediocre slog it's within
I've been wanting to use Nemesis since I don't actually have Sigma on my console. Borrowing a friends copy and I've been playing Sigma at his place. Other than him the only other dlc character I'm looking forward to is Venom. Winter Soldier and Black Widow have to be the dullest fucking picks in the entire universe.
Agreed completely.
Jedah/Nemesis was pretty fun for what it was but I didn't get the strong synergy like I did while labbing Sigma/Nemesis. Nemesis is just so much better in this game, since his tools destroy bad tags and his damage is actually pretty good unlike in 3 where it was mediocre for a big body. His rockets are fantastic for punishes and pickups, and Biohazard rush swapping infinite armor for invincible startup made it one of the best supers in the game IMO.
I'm adamant in saying that Ultron Sigma is one of the best things to come out of the crossover, plus it easily looks the best without needing to animate some horrifically realistic attempt at a face. The two joining forces makes enough sense in context. Hell, they had the best lines too
>All biological life must be exterminated, the soul's fire extinguished
>WE ARE ULTRON SIGMA, WE HAVE BECOME AS ONE, AND THE TERMS OF DEAL HAVE CHANGED
>The living of two universes shall be laid to rest in a single grave
Still more balanced than MvC3
Hunter at least makes up for it with all the care put into her animations.
Almost every single action she does straight up mimics something from the MH to a tee. Meanwhile, most of the cast are super bland and unispired in every movement.
Did Laura bailey starting asking for too much money? I'm noticing Ashley Burch is being used a lot as a Laura bailey replacement.
>switch out while being comboed
Seriously?
It's a reversal that takes 2 meters and if you fuck it up you can get both characters fucked. What's retarded is the pressure you can put on with the tag system. But it is a marvel game so retardation is the norm.
IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!
Sigma's the best thing about the game
Sigma is probably the best character in the game fun wise and BP is the most technical.
>Sigma
>top tier
lol no. Black Panther is probably the most skill intensive character in the game and Mon Hunny is average
I dunno, I thought Bailey was in that VA strike thingy and capcom just said "fuck it, where's burch".
the story was so bad she she stop playing her and moved over to injustice 2
That might just be a problem for you. I can find games consistently
I don't think that can be the case as Burch was also part of the strike. I remember the articles where she was crying about not being able to play her Life is Strange character
Oh, in that case I gonna guess Burch asked less money.
