If you went to a gym you would understand the amount of time, calories and protein that is required to build muscle like that even for a man. For a woman its going to take a constant regimen most likely supplemented by steroids and/or hormone treatments.

If you're spending all your time hunting rats to survive you're not going to have a lot of free time for curls. More than that having that much muscle would be a disadvantage for your survival because you would require more calories to keep your body fueled.

This is not a realistic body type for a normal woman in a post apocalyptic scenario its something that is only achievable under highly artificial conditions with a great deal of free time and an abundance of resources.

Totally depends on the situation. If someone's a better hunter, things like deer are plentiful. Protein taken care of. If they're part of a strong group, a settlement can be established and guarded. Crops can be grown. Livestock can be kept for eggs and dairy.

Post-apocalyptic society isn't medieval peasantry. The strong and the smart survive. And to keep surviving they need to thrive.
