I need to know what retro is working on
They've been probably busy porting their new project to the Switch.
I think it'd come out in the Summer or Fall of 2018
super smash bros!
but uh skyrim
Skyrim's out next week
If they don't have anything for the first month or so of next year, VC would be a really nice distraction.
There are things we know, things we know we don't know, and then there's the things that we don't know that we don't know.
We don't know what nintendo has planned. I'd say a surprise super smash bros within 2018, if it wasn't coming they would have already ported Smash 4.
Buy my game (again)
can any one suggest a good indie game for the train
im stuck on the train a hour a day
Considering Superstar Saga DX was announced in June and came out about 4 months later, I'm hoping we can get a remake of a Gamecube game.
Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door (Gamexplain gave them the suggestion in an interview), F-Zero GX if we're that lucky, etc.
Stardew Valley
Golf Story
Axiom Verge
>Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door
fuck yes its the only remake i want and of cause the secret of mana collection only japan got
MGS Collection on the Switch when?
Hell, they've already ported 2 to a device with a Tegra X1.
youtu.be
Guess you won't be buying it then :)
I could see them porting the Vita collection pretty easily, if that's the one you mean.
Why talk about 2018 games now? Now's the time for Nintendo to call attention to what they have to sell for the holidays. All of the 2017 lineup so far will be selling to new audiences during the holiday season. After that, there will be time to talk about the release schedule for next year.
Well, Lost Sphear is coming out in January for the Switch, so there's that. Q1/Q2 will have Wolfenstein, Kirby Star Allies, Yoshi Switch, and Project Octopath Traveler. Fire Emblem Switch has a high chance of coming out in Q2/Q3. I'm guessing that instead of full games by Nintendo, we can expect large DLC packs for the games already out (namely, Mario and Splatoon 2) as well as some indie games. The only new Nintendo game I see possibly coming out during this time is Pushmo Switch.
What else are we gonna talk about?
I want Animal Crossing
I mean from Nintendo's point of view. There seems to be some implication that the current lack of information on 2018 releases means that Nintendo has nothing to release.
What about Nintendo Directs?
>>Kirby and Yoshi are Spring 2018 at best
Learn English, you fucking troglodyte.
If we get Wii U ports, I'd like Smash, Bayo 2, and/or WWHD. If we got all three of those I'd probably sell my Wii U not that it would happen but still.
should I get a switch now or wait till next year for when a upgraded hardware version appears.
I don't really care tbqh. The stuff coming out by christmas should be enough to last me all winter. I'm more excited to see what they'll announce in the big winter direct they usually have.
There's been a Direct in January nearly every year since they started. It makes the most sense for Nintendo to do a Direct focusing on 2018 titles after putting their full effort into promoting the titles that are going to be available for the 2017 holidays.
Don't expect them to have a drastically better version within 2 years. It took 3 1/2 for the 3DS to go to the New 3DS. The 2DS and 3DS XL were hardly upgrades, just form factor shifts. At best expect slimmer/smaller versions of the Switch with no real upgrades, and if the 3DS XL is anything to look to for precedent, they'll cost more than the base Switch. Just get one when it has enough games for you to be satisfied.
okey doke, user
I can see them releasing a revision in a couple years that moves to the Pascal chip that they should've fucking used the first time around, maybe trimming the bezels of the screen a bit.
i would bust both my nuts if peace walker hd came to switch, it's perfect for the kind of portable play the console has
Hopefully they're getting disbanded
why would you want that?
Decent chance
Konami made a profit from Super Bomberman R and are considering a Castlevania game for the Switch
My guess is a WiiU port.
Maybe Wind Waker/Twilight Princess HD, but more likely something like Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE or Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Actually most likely would be another goddamn port of Yoshi's Wooly World.
The WiiU had some decent games. They got some good titles they can port.
Pikmin 3's a good candidate as is Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
Hell, the 3DS got a port of Returns quite early on in its life so I can easily see Tropical Freeze being a top candidate for a port.
Nintendo rarely ever announces games that won't come out for a long time. Usually when they announce it's within the year or within the quarter.
Why would they put out a port of Woolly World in the same year another 2D Yoshi game with an arts and crafts aesthetic comes out?
The Pascal chip was literally not available when they started manufacturing. The advantage it has is also vastly overstated.
Don't they normally do a November Direct to coincide with the Pokemon games
That is beyond retarded and the amount of work needed to get old games running on X2 Pascal would be insane.
SSBFFA is slated for Q4-18
MP4 has no internal projection, expect 2019+
Zelda sequel has not started production
Fucking mario maker switch edition when
They could update it with a way to actually find good levels that aren't automarios
I can get used to Picross without a stylus, but making a Mario level tile by tile sounds tedious as fuck. They'd have to bundle it with some special stylus that works with the Switch's touchscreen.
Ni No Kuni II surprise Switch release for January.
I can dream, right?
When xbots made rumours saying it was coming to the xbox they said the PC/PS4 are the only versions they're working on.
I rather have DBFighter Z instead
Just give me Tropical Dong and Ill be happy
Stardew Valley is dangerous when you have limited time. it's so easy to just get sucked in and waste an entire day rearranging your farm.
Christ no.
>What I wanted
An unlimited stream of old Mario levels made by the community, effectively creating new Mario games all the times
>What I actually got
Shitload of poorly designed messes, kaizo shit, auto levels, musical levels, gatcha levels, and the occasional passable Mario level
Just play the original, that was on a portable console you know.
>Original Peace Walker with that god awful control scheme
No.
The only thing it needs to be perfect though is a better way to filter shit levels
I wish I didn't buy it.
They won't do it, they know their market and what is popular. They wanted us to play their shit levels.
