it was pretty dope. Its no Mario 64, and probably easier than galaxy games. But i really enjoyed it.

The bosses were incredibly uninspired, aside from the big head, the mecha wiggler, and the dragon from the Dark Souls level.

The final moments were awesome.

Because it's nowhere near the best game this year. Horizon, AC: Origins, Shadow of War, Battlefront 2, Destiny 2, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, ME: Andromeda, PUBG, Halo Wars 2, Ghost Recon, Crash, and Zelda are all vastly superior.

This game only served to make me want to play the original Super Mario Bros with the 2D sections instead, which is pretty much as far from a compliment as you can get.

I was debating between Odyssey and P5 too, but after beating Darker Side yesterday, Odyssey wins without a second thought. I love P5, but dragged on for so fucking long. Mario is short, but if you put in the effort and play the postgame, it suddenly becomes incredibly rewarding

Half the time you are discouraged not to fight things because your shit will break and might need it for a stronger enemy later.

That said, I'm dropping Zelda for good now.

Zelda games never had awesome bosses and lynels are the best any 3d or 2d zelda game has to offer. Combat is by far the best in any Zelda game. Some shrines are fun but those beasts sucked and music is 0/10. I really doubt you even played the game or most 3d Zelda games for that matter.

So you don't like exploration games, you just like finding checkmarks on your map and getting a shot of loot box-induced dopamine straight into your brain.

The motion controls are really annoying.
Also coming from A Hat in Time Mario really does handle like ass. I've raged at least 5 times due to the collisions fucking up and sending me to my death (3 of those in hat-door/floating void levels) or from the camera misbehaving; that only happened to me once in my entire time playing AHiT. Drives me up the fucking wall when I'm looking for collectables and the game wont let me enter first-person or angle my camera the way I want.
