I still don't really understand the Lakitu fishing. Am I supposed to reel in at the same time the joycons vibrate? do I wait until it snags it like animal crossing?

There is a small vibration and then a big one. wait for the big one.

I love almost all of the new races. Bonneters, Tostarenans, Shiverians and Volbonans are my favourites. Wish they had actual species names, though.

Yup. Update 4.0 added generic third-party controller support via USB. Supposedly, GameCube adapter functionality was an accident. It works as a regular controller so it's good for any game, although it doesn't have all the necessary buttons. It's missing ZL, Minus, Capture, Home, and the joysticks can't be clicked in.

I like that the game specifies this as a tropical species of Wiggler. It's cool considering that Wigglers are typically in a forest.

Do the lighthouse tunnel backwards on the seaside one, there's a few coins that're easy to see in there if you're going backwards
There's some in the poison area of the snow kingdom, they blend into the purple poison so you might've missed them. I'd say they're in a corner area, but again memory's not 100%

I forgot to mention that you should have the camera moving while taking the screenshot due to how the game handles resolution. It'll make the screenshot look like it's half the resolution of the already low handheld resolution.

The difference is, black people being called spear chuckers or anything like that is legitimately offensive. This is not really the same. Would be different if thet displayed a gigantic wall, showing the skeletons attempting to climb over it.

It's even more of a shame the game spoon-feeds you the location of all the post game moons on older levels. Sup Forums hates hand holding and yet it's okay in this game?

the game has 999 moons but 500 is easily achievable. if you don't like a moon or kingdom you're not forced to do anything, all you need to do is move to a new kingdom

I would've agreed but realising that I could jump into them as a Lava Bubble like any other lava made them infinitely more interesting to me.

I seriously don'y understand how people are having this much trouble with purple coins. They are always in suspicious looking areas and not "Hanging just below the edge of the map (except that one time in the Sand Kingdom)" or something equally childish. I've been able to find every single purple coin without a guide just by looking left and right.

Oh yeah they're cool from a mechanical perspective but design wise there isn't much going on.

Bowser's Castle vine. You can just throw your cap straight forward to grab the Rocket Flowers and jump when necessary and you'll grab a ton of coins.

They're easier to spot than sand kingdom's though and are the reason I even checked over there

Not him, but I spent a long time searching the level before happening upon the last three I needed hanging off of the waterfall that flows into the abyss in the south-west of the map. There were some more where the pathway stopped near the sheep pen too but they were much easier to spot.
