Are you going to Scarborough Fair Sup Forums?
This could have been my favorite game of all times back in the days, but the necessity of having GBA for each players destroyed everything for me...
>doing a 4-player all Lillities playthrough
Sup Forums here. Fuck you.
this, got this game on release and at the time the magazines didn't mention multiplayer was tied to gbas and cables.
ost is maybe the best of any final fantasy ever.
The ones on the DS were real good. Had great times with my cousins.
>he didn't read Nintendo Power
Those were a blast, man. Easily sank 300 hours into EoT. I met a lot of cool people out there by naming my characters my Friend Code so I could chat with strangers. If you're out there, Ace, I miss ya ;_;
No because I'm not from the US and local magazines were full of lies to shill consumers into buying nintendo or sony games.
>No Wii version with DS Download Play
>No Wii U version with 3DS app for local and Gamepad for online
Switch version that requires everyone to have their own Switch even for local multiplayer when?
i played crystal bearers again this year
i had a surprising amount of fun
>No Wii version with DS Download Play
>No Wii U version with 3DS app for local and Gamepad for online
Truly someone dropped the ball here, CC was a game made before its time. With how successful the Wii/DS was it was just asking for a sequel. That isn't pic related.
Damn, that sounds awful, sorry to hear that, man. 80s-00s dedicated company gaming mags were pure bliss.
Probably never. How was that one 3DS game? It looked interesting but it was DoA in America.
parsley sage rosemary and thyme
>That one 3DS game
What 3DS game? You don't mean Explorers, do you? Because that was shit and had nothing to do with Crystal Chronicles.
Why is there no good sequel to this amazing game
Just replayed the shit out of this with my friends this past year and it still holds up as an amazing game.
Yeah, and I know it wasn't related, I was just hoping it might scratch the multiplayer FF itch. Sounds like a no.
What really got me heated was the like of online in KH:Days
It still confuses me to this day that this never happened. With online play becoming even more prevalent, it's confusing that games like CC or Phantasy Star Online never got re-released.
haha, it wasn't that bad, one of the magazines included some nintendo power pages (usually maps, tips or guides).
I finished the game alone and it was a good experience but it was obvious the story was unfinished because it stops after the third year. All that black knight shit for nothing. I have four gbas right now but i lack three cables that I'm planning to buy. I'll probably invite some friends to play this the way it's meant to be played
KH:Days didn't have online.
There have been multiple Phantasy Star games since PSO all with online; there was even one for DS. Meanwhile Crystal Chronicles is one of a kind even among its own spin-offs.
CC is basically a game that was custom made for old man Yamauchi when he grovelled for a FF game at Square's feet, more specifically Kawazu's feet, back when the GC was a thing.
Later on Kawazu himself lost interest in the franchise and basically stopped giving a shit after Crystal Bearers, also because sales were pretty abysmal for the suits so the series kind of died off.
Nintendo also never showed interest in the IP after Yamauchi croaked, so I don't think it will ever be picked up again, especially now that Squenix is trying to resurrect other IPs.
lack* Sorry for mobileposting.
It's funny how the meaning changed completely from that one typo. Being angry due to there being no online play suddenly sounded like getting pumped up whenever you did play the nonexistent online.
